He cleared his throat

"You have fever. " he gently said. "Let me get you some medicine and a wet cloth." he added

"Can you help me get up. My back hurts. " I said with a small voice.

He helped me get up in a sitting position and went to get the meds.

A few minutes and the sounds of cluttering later he came into the room with meds and a glass of water.

She remembers how clumsy he was.

On the day of their engagement, when they were exchanging the ring, the ring slipped off his hand and rolled under the big table where the dinner was going to be held. God, it took 15 men, dressed in tux, half an hour to find that not-so-little diamond band.

"Sorry for the noise, I don't know where the medical box was. " He said sheepishly

Oh god, he so cute. Such a cutie

I gave him a smile and tried to scoot over so that he could sit beside me.
But unfortunately my back didn't allow that and I hissed in pain.

"Oh no honey, don't do that." he said in a worried voice. "I'm just fine here. Now you take the medicine."

God these endearments will be the death of me.

I was about to choke on the water when he said it. But anyways I love it when he would call me these endearments.

"Can you help me get up, I need to change into my pjs. "
Ahh back pain sucks .

"Of course." he said and picked me up and we went towards the closet.

I wasn't the usual type of chicks who would shy away from their partners while touching them.
As I said I loved any physical contact that was with him.

In our relationship, you could say that I was the extrovert, social person while he was an introvert.

He loved staying at home while I loved going outside

Anyways, he settled me on a puffy.

"What do you want to wear. "

" Ohh, Just the usual sleeping outfit."

"Oh and get me the shorts too" I added.

I gulped

Oh damn, was she trying  to kill me.

I quickly grabbed the stuff, gave it to her and went out of the closet so fast that it could be considered as running.

Now you know how hard it is for me to not to touch her or to stay away from her. She always wore those loose clothes which show ample of her creamy skin while sleeping. It's so hard for me to control myself around her while she laid in the bed just an arm away to cuddle with her.

After a few minutes she came out struggling. Her shorts were so short that it looked as if she was wearing that loose T-shirt only.

I quickly went towards her at picked her up again and put her on the bed and sat next to her.
Anything to get close to her.

"Did you eat? "

"No, I was so much in pain that I just prepared your dinner and went to sleep. " she quickly replied
And following this her stomach grumbled accompanied by a blush on her cheeks.

" God Arya  how can be you so  careless. You prepared dinner for me but you yourself didn't eat. That's why you are so weak. See. "

I held her wrist wrapped my hand around it.

"You are so thin that even my thumb overlapped my fingers. "

"On no mister, I am perfectly alright. It's just that you have a big palm and fingers. " she said sarcastically but never removed her hand from my hold.

"Fine Mrs. Gupta, let me get something to eat for you. " I left to the kitchen with a huge grin on my face, leaving behind a blushing mess of my wife.
