Warning: Major Character Death

As Dean Winchester drove his Impala down a nearly empty road at around 3:00 AM, he got the phone call he'd been desperately waiting to receive.
"Hello? Dean?" A voice crackled over Dean Winchester's cell phone when he immediately answered.
"Jesus Christ, Cas! You scared the hell out of Sam and I. We thought you were dead! We've been looking for you everywhere. Where'd you run off to this time?" Dean growled, ignoring the questioning looks from his brother. The Impala zoomed down the road, stirring up the autumn leaves in the process.
"I don't know. I am alone. I believe I am lost," Cas replied, sounding quite relaxed, though embarrassed, about the situation.
"Alright, Cas," Dean sighed, running his hand down his face. It had been quite a stressful day, trying to locate their lost angel and all. "Well, uh, what do you see?"
"Nothing unusual, Dean. I can't see why-" Castiel stopped abruptly, worrying Dean. Dean panicked slightly.
"Cas, buddy, you still there?" Dean asked, tracing the call as they were talking. If they wanted to find their angel, tracing the call seemed to be the only logical way how.
"Dean," Cas said in a hushed voice. "Dean, something dark is nearby. I can feel its presence." Dean gulped. That didn't sound very good.
"What do you mean, Cas?" Dean questioned, swerving around a lone car and back into the previous lane.
"Something is nearby," Cas repeated. A rustling sound came from Cas' end of the call. "Dean... it appears to be a statue of an angel, but the wings are not correct. It looks sad."
"Castiel, you better get your ass out of there right now!" Dean yelled in alarm, confusing Cas.
"Why, Dean? What is this statue?" Cas asked, as clueless as usual.
"It's a weeping angel. They are cunning bastards. They normally do not kill people, though if a weeping angel were to make eye-contact with a someone, they would be transported back in time. Weeping angels do kill angels. The only way we know of that can kill them is an angel blade," Dean explained. "Sammy and I tangled with one once and, let's just say, the results were catastrophic. Luckily for us, the Trickster owed us a few favors, so we got everyone back into our time."
"Dean, there only seems to be one. I could defeat one, couldn't I?" Cas said, his voice cracking over the phone. He was fearful, especially because of the way Dean described them.
"No, Cas, you don't get it. If there is one weeping angel, there are bound to be more somewhere nearby. Plus, if you look away from a weeping angel, or ever blink when you're looking at one, they will move closer to you. The more you blink or look away, the closer they will get, even if you run, you are not safe, because they follow you." Cas' breathing was heavy in the phone and, if Dean didn't know any better, he almost sounded close to hysterics.
"Cas, listen to me. Sam and I will come pick you up, get you away from the weeping angels," Dean sighed. Why is it always someone I care about?
"Why don't you just poof back to the bunker, though?" Dean suggested. Cas sighed.
"Dean, I have already tried. Something is blocking me from doing so," Cas huffed, sounding more and more upset.
