Once again i was shackled and surrounded by about a million guards. They led me out of the cell/vault, down the torturous tunnel, and up the stairs.

Down in the vault/cell it was very cold, freezing actually, but as i made my way to the top floor the temperature slowly increased.

They led me down the opposite end of the building. Down more tunnels, and stairs, and passed more guards.

And as we walked i could feel the glare of the guards and the other Vampires. Usually I would have milked attention like this for all it was worth.

But not this time.

This time i would walk quietly. Incognito (well not really incognito because everyone saw me but i think you get what i was going for).

We stopped at a tall wooden door. Agent Stewart knocked once and almost immediately the large door swung open. The guards pushed me into the room, and as soon as they were in, they were out. The only people remaining in the room were me, Stewart, and a short (and very attractive, too attractive in fact) woman. She stood shorter than I, and she had smooth pore-less skin, and straight and glossy black hair. Her large brown eyes welcomed me in an almost kind manner.

"Sit." she said, motioning towards a chair.

"How do you do Agent?" she asked, looking towards Stewart. He just nodded. She looked towards me. "And you?" she asked me. I was taken aback by the friendly tone in her voice.

"I'm as good as I could possibly be." she smiled, showing off two perfect rows of teeth. She picked up a blue folder in her perfectly manna cured hands. I could see her eyes widen as she read, what I'm assuming, was the case against me.

"Well Summer, you definitely got yourself into a deep hole now didn't you?" she asked, not looking up from the folder. She closed it and sat down.

"You know Summer, I've worked some very difficult cases, but i must say that yours is probably the toughest," she paused, "I have to tell you that I really want to have faith in you, and believe that I can help you, but I really don't think I can."

"Are you quiting or something?" I asked, "Cause I don't need you anyway. My life's been a wreck sense day one, and now that I've been caught I'm not gonna fight. I'm sick of life. I'm sick of getting close to someone and having them die, or turn on me. I'm sick of not being able to trust anyone, not even myself. So if you're gonna go into the whole "you're important, you matter, don't give up on life" thing, well just don't because we all know that there's no saving me now."
