I'm running through the woods. Of course it's the woods. I know not to stop and I can feel the forest floor underneath my feet but it feels good. This is what I'm used to. I sense that the thing chasing me is gone or I have lost it. I hear running water and start walking toward it remembering where I am. I look up at the sky to see all the beautiful stars twinkling as if to say hello. I take a deep breath and walk to the water sound. When I get there my breath gets caught in my throat. The grass is the greenest thing I have seen and the water is clear and is reflecting the moon and the stars. I sit next to the waterfall listening to the rushing water. I sit there and close my eyes enjoying the peace when not three minutes later I hear the snapping of twigs. I cautiously open my eyes to see something I didn't expect. A HUGE wolf is standing at the edge of the clearing staring at me with its big orange eyes. Its fur is pitch black and has a silvery light going across its side from the moon. Kind of reminds me of Halloween colors. No stop, focus. I slowly get up and move towards the edge of the clearing. When I'm almost there I hear a deep, threatening growl. I shift quickly into my black panther and run into the woods taking his challenge. I realize that I seem to be going around in circles and before I can do anything about it I am tackled to the ground by the huge Halloween wolf. I kick him off me and am ready for a fight. He looks like he doesn't want to fight. Which is ironic since he attacked first, so he must have a weakness. He charges first and I block the attack and slash his side with my claws. He growls and turns biting my back leg. I swipe my paws across his face, leaving three slash marks down his face but before he could do anything I jolt awake. "Wake up!" Brynne shouts as she pours ice cold water on me. Sometimes I wonder why I don't lock my door......
