Erys stalks toward the door, eyes rolling. Kate keeps her eyes on her immaculate nails. I follow Erys to the door and watch as two angry faces appear as the door opens. I raise an eyebrow at the unwelcome werewolves.

"We need to have a serious talk." the shorter one spits out. Wonder how long it took him to get that to perfection.

"About?" Erys crosses her arms and steps forward so she's standing directly in front of them and I come to stand at her flank.

"It has come to my attention that you have murdered our brother and his mate."  the shorter one snarls out, taking a step toward Erys. The taller one gives him a look and pushes him behind him.

"I'm Alpha Erick of th-"

"Yea, I happen to not give a fuck. They were trespassing on our," she motions between herself and me, "land. It wasn't their first time either, so I took care of the problem. Now, unless you want you and the rest of your pack to follow suit I suggest you get the hell out of my sight." Erys spits out, pushing them out of the door way. The shorter one's face half morphs and the taller one-Erick-pulls him back, a look of fear passing over his face.

"We apologize, we did not know they were this far out. Gillum let's go." Erick pulls his short friend, Gillum, away.

"What kind of name is Gillum anyway?" I snort and a smile splits Erys' face. Kate's heels click against the tile as she walks our way.

"I've got a club to open and I really don't want to run into those two puff balls, so can I get a ride? Pretty please?" She folds her arms and Erys nods and grabs her keys.

"I'll stay here and sharpen our weapons for the hunt tonight. Drive safe you crazy kids!" I shout after them and Erys flips me off as she walks out into the garage after Kate. I laugh and head upstairs. I pull out a drawer in my bedroom and look through it, looking through my equipment I know is there.

The sun is setting as I snap my head up, sniffing the air. Aw shit. I rush downstairs, sniffing the air, while I creep towards the kitchen. I peek outside the curtain and watch as dark figures make their way towards the house just as Erys pulls into the garage. What did she do now? I roll my eyes and turn, walking straight into somebody. I look down at the small thing.

"Are you an imp?" I ask, puzzled as I offer my hand to help her up.

"No, I'm not." She accepts my hand and I pull her onto her feet.

"She's a Witch." Erys says as she walks past us and into the kitchen. "Fuck, I knew he recognized me."

"Who?" I don't turn to face her, a little more concerned with the big blood splotch in the middle of the Witch's otherwise pristine white tank top.

"Our Vampy friends' council members." Erys pulls the curtains closed and crosses her arms, "Want to tell us why they had you strung up in their den?"

"You went to their den?! Er, what is wrong with you?" I half shout at Erys, the smartest idiot I have ever met.

"Don't worry, she was with me." Alvatrez steps into the house, in his human form of course. You think the King of Dragons could fit in our house? I rush at the behemoth of a man and crush him in a bear hug.

"Bro! It's been too long, where've ya been?" I release him and he ruffles my hair with a chuckle.

"Ruling over my world." He glances over my shoulder and pops his knuckles. When I hear the hiss of angered vampies and no Erys I roll my eyes and sigh. As I go to leave I see the Witch has some popcorn, watching the scene play out. I step out just in time to see Erys' claws lengthen and hover over a lady vampire's neck.

"Stay back, she isn't bluffing." I call out to the vampires.

"It was you shapeshifters who started it. You are after two of our own." sneers a particularly wrinkly old bastard.

Erys just adds pressure to the woman's throat and smiles. "Leave now and you'll still have your leader." she eyes the group of 6.

"We'll be back." they go to back up when a howl tears through the sky. Werewolves burst through the trees and come sprinting towards us. Erys clamps her hand around the lady's throat and tears it out before I can stop her. Great. I watch the wolves surround us and Erick and Gillum take their sweet time walking toward us. The tension is almost palpable as Erick smiles.

"Sorry to interrupt but, do you care now?" a mocking smile splits his face and I almost don't stop Erys. Almost. Dropping the dead woman's body she stalks toward the Alpha male. She slashes him in a downward arc on his stupid face and I pull her back and push her behind me.

"Watch them." I nod to the vampires and turn back around to face Erick, who still looks shocked. "We asked you nicely to leave." I fold my arms over my chest.

"You KILLED one of our own! We can't just let you go." Gillum snarls and the rest of the pack roars with him. Anger radiates off of them like the scorching sun and I mentally smack myself. I glance back at Erys and silently curse her out. She is taunting half the vampires with the head of their lady and the other half look about ready to attack the werewolves. I sigh inwardly and roll my eyes upward. I bring my eyes back to Erick pull a smirk onto my face.

"Bring it bitch." I lunge at him, shifting as I attack.
