Cobra wanted nothing more than to satisfy his own thirst for power, and he always loved doing things violently. However, if there's anything that his teenage years could've taught him, they don't go down without a fight. Last time he challenged them, they had thirteen large theropods at their disposal, and he suspected that number only grown bigger. And while he knew it wasn't the alpha by any means, he knew deep down that the giga, he never bothered remembering his name, was the strongest, and physically the most powerful. Second to him was the actual alpha Katana, who he hated with everything he had. And, while Cobra loved doing things hands on, he sometimes needed someone to do the dirty work for him, and coincidentally, Dilophosaur venom allows them to have that same luxury. He knew the group already had a female Dilophosaurus. Their venom is so much more effective than males, that he heard of a case where a Dracovenator accidentally became a servant to a female Dilophosaurus after the two simply wanted something intimate.
"One of your raptor goons told me you had an offer" Apis said. "Listen, you and I both know that group is going to collapse someday. Now, I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to help me a little. No tricks, nothing" Cobra said. "Let me guess, next thing I know you'll pull me into your cave or something" Apis said. "Oh, no! I wouldn't. Raising raptors and a Yutyrannus is one thing. That would be something I couldn't handle" Cobra said. "Okay, Good. I'm not into that, and even if I was your brother is more attractive. So, what is it you wanted, anyway" Apis asked. "Well, some assistance, actually. I want you, and night, to somehow get that giga under your control, and fight that damned egotistical alpha" Cobra said. "You mean Katana? The guy who's so full of it and is so overly nice I can't handle it. I'm surprised Cormorant or Mudstone weren't assigned as the alpha in the first place" Apis said. "Look, I just want you to make em' fight. I don't care the outcome, it benefits me either way" Cobra said. "I'll do it, but I want to be clear I will not be involved in any of this conflict ever again. You understand, right" Apis said. "And you won't have to. Some brief help is all I need to kickstart this whole operation" Cobra said. "Okay then. I'll do it, so long as you don't say shit" Apis said. "Trust me, I've kept more secrets than even my brother knows" Cobra said.
Apis left the clearing, with a look of suspicion on her face. Even with that look on her, Cobra still couldn't help but admire her, even if she was a different species. "Now that I think of it, she kinda was right. I probably would've pulled her into the cave" Cobra said with a hint of regret in his voice.
