Frostbite and his brothers relaxed by the creek.
While they no longer played by it like they used to. However, they still relaxed by it and watched the tadpoles, Diplocaulus, and occasional trilobite go by. It was relaxing, and in this day and age, there was little time to relax. The wind blew in Frostbite's coat of feathers, which was now incredibly soft.
Frostbite got up and sniffed the air, with a familiar scent being picked up. "does anyone smell that" Frostbite asked. "It's probably another Gastornis" Spearhead shrugged. "No, this smells different" Frostbite responded. "Oh sure it does. Everything is all the same to me" Spearhead said. "Probably what that raptor did to you. He got you bad" Frostbite said. "Eh, Fair" Spearhead said.
A loud call sounded. To Frostbite, it was beautiful. "Fucking birds! Can't they just shut the hell up when I'm trying to nap" Cloud barked. "I don't think that's a bird" Frostbite said, now more curious than ever. "Don't tell me you're gonna investigate" Spearhead moaned. "I will" Frostbite responded. "Dammit" Spearhead said. "I would follow you, but this Oviraptor just got on my back and I don't wanna disturb it" Spearhead said, now with an oviraptor on his back. Frostbite walked to the direction that he heard the call. "Should we follow him" Spearhead asked to Cloud, who he realized had gone back to sleep. "I guess that's a 'no' then" Spearhead sighed as he rested his head on the ground.
Frostbite walked into a clearing, and he heard muffled voices. One sounded feminine, and another two sounded masculine. The feminine voice sounded distressed, and the other two sounded similar to how Cobra's subordinates would be; somewhat malicious.
He headed to where the voices were, expecting to see raptors cornering someone. Instead, he was greeted with something he hadn't seen since he was a juvenile; others of his kind. Two of them were males of his species. The other a female. It seemed the males were harassing the female, who was cornered. Frostbite knew he had to do something about it.
"Hey, what's going on here" Frostbite suddenly asked. The males seemed spooked, and they turned back. Frostbite saw one of them urinate on the ground. "So, is everyone here good" Frostbite asked, already knowing the answer. "Yes, everything is perfectly fine Snowstorm" the bigger one said. Frostbite started laughing. "If you're gonna lie, at least know my name. I don't know who 'Snowstorm' is, but if I had to guess, he's just as pathetic as you tiny, scrawny, degenerate, good-for-nothing pussies" Frostbite said, getting closer to their faces as he insulted them. "Oh shit. We're screwed" the smaller one said. "Damn right you are" Frostbite responded.
"Hey, hey hey! If you think you're just gonna interrupt us, you can just leave, asshole" the bigger one said. "Try me" Frostbite said. The bigger one tried charging, but Frostbite quickly swatted at the smaller adversary, who fell on the ground. The smaller one darted away while he still could. The bigger one got up and ran away while he still could.
"Hey, you okay" Frostbite asked the female. "Yeah. Those two were following me for the last month and wouldn't leave me alone, and they're very pushy" the female said. "They seem weak. And I was a runt" Frostbite said. "Say, what's your name" the female asked. "I'm Frostbite" Frostbite said. "I think I heard of you before. You and a couple of other guys were the thing people brought up a while ago, but I didn't know one of North America's saviors was this good lookin" the female said. "Eh, thanks" Frostbite nervously said. "I've only known you for seven minutes, and I already like you" the female said. "Okay" Frostbite said, trying to make it less obvious that he was nervous. "My Name is Snow by the way" the female said. "That's a nice name" Frostbite said. "Hey, mind if I stay with you" Snow asked. "I'll have to see what everyone thinks, but that should be fine" Frostbite said. He looked into Snow's eyes and saw an innocent, but loving stare. He couldn't help but give an affectionate smile back to her. "Follow me" he said. "Okay" Snow said.
The two of them headed not through the way Frostbite normally came, but through the main entrance, which was ideal or introducing new dinosaurs.
Cormorant approached them. "Ah, Frostbite! Who's this" Cormorant said. "This is Snow. I just met her. I wanted to know if she could have a place to stay" Frostbite said. "Well, I'm proud of you and all the work you've done. As such, she can stay" Cormorant said. "Thanks" Frostbite said. Cormorant walked away.
"Who was that? He seemed nice" Snow asked. "That was Cormorant. He raised me for most of my life" Frostbite said. "Wait, you did have parents" Snow asked. "I knew my parents. My mother and most of my siblings died in an avalanche, my last blood brother got lost and I think he's dead, and my father was killed by Cobra, who took my sister" Frostbite said. "So, how did he find you" Snow asked. "Fate. He found me, and I couldn't be more thankful of that" Frostbite said. "Hey, Frostbite! Where the hell were you!?"
