Legacy Of the Past {Sequel to Two of a kind}

Getting closer together

(3rd pov) 

The kids and their guards stayed in a hotel about 5 miles off from the Kage Summit building. It was snowing in their region. The kids all stayed in one room while the guards discussed things in another.

"This is so boring!" Shin sighed as he slumped in a chair he was sitting on. "I just hope our family is okay..." Daito said looking down. "Doubt and sulking won't help them so just stay positive. They aren't Kages for nothing." Minato smiled encouragingly.

He was laying down cross legged with his back against a wall on the window ciel. 

Kushina was asleep on a bed. Haruki was sitting against a wall on Minato's right on the floor. Daito was on the floor leaning on a wall near Rai and Shin who were sitting on a chair. Tori was leaning on a wall. Ira left to go stand on the roof.

"What is up with your sister?" Tori sneered towards Haruki.

 Haruki glared at her slightly. "What about her?" He asked defensively. "She has a stick up her ass. Doesn't she let loose? She's standing on top of the roof while it's freezing!" she said throwing her hands up in the air.

Haruki stared at her then looked at the ground. "She's just like that." he muttered. "Care to elaborate?" Rai asked with a raised eyebrow. Haruki sighed. "Ira is just protective. She's always been the stronger twin..." he said.

 "Why do I feel that's not everything to it? Why else is she so protective and so strict with everything?" Shin asked.

He stayed silent. "Iwa (Ira) is just scared of people getting hurt..." Kushina sleepily stated while sitting up rubbing her eyes and yawning. "She blames everything on herself, if anything happened to us she'd think its her fault. So give her some slack." Minato said, growling the last part.

 He stood up and tucked back in his sleepy sister.

"Why? she barley know us." Tori retorted. "It's just the way she is." Haruki said shrugging. Tori was interested in Ira. Mostly because of the way she talked to her back at the building.  Tori would never admit, but she grew some respect for Ira.

People usually were nice to her because of who she was or was afraid of what she could do. 

But Ira challenged her, she thought she'd back down like everyone else would, but she didn't show fear. She was now growing a even stronger respect for her, because she would still care for her even after what she said about her family. 

"What about you Haruki? What's your story?" Daito smiled. "Nothing special. Me and my sister have been inseparable. I'm more approachable because I smile more." He smiled sheepishly.
