When Sally and Silver first met, there wasn't an outright connection between the two.

Sally merely followed Slender to Silver's introduction to the others and that was the last she saw of him for a while.

It wasn't that she didn't like him or he didn't like her. They each just had their own problems and issues that didn't allow them to socialize.

Sally was still shy and kept to herself. The others, being Jeff and the two proxies, really didn't seem like people to talk to. Especially Jeff, who for some reason, liked to mess with her a lot.

EJ, LJ, and Toby were still new and were being trained by the leader of the household. So she never had the chance to speak to them properly.

Silver on the other hand, dealt with a lot of anxiety and had poor socialization skills. After being trapped in a game for so long with nothing but the graves of your lost ones, isn't the best for your mental state. There were times where his depression would skyrocket. Other days, he'll feel extreme self hatred for what he's done. Still, he hoped to be useful in any way that he could.

So when he noticed Sally was playing alone with her toys, he realized that she may have a similar experience with her. Keep in mind that Silver has zero socialization skills, but he he figured he'd give it a go. She was, after all, Slenderman's 'adopted' child.

However as he approached her, she quickly gathered her stuff and walked away without an explanation. Needless to say, Silver was embarrassed. A hot flush of warmth spread through his cheeks, ears, and even neck. Hoping no one saw, he left the situation to wallow in embarrassment in the safety of his room.

The next encounter was more or less the same.

Then the next.

And the next.

Until Silver finally decided to call it quits. He knew he wasn't the best person, but to receive rejection after rejection stung a bit more than he would have like to admit.

It was on an unforgettable day that their relationship changed.

Sally had been feeling down as of late.

To, hopefully, change the mood she decided to roam around the forest for a bit before the creatures that inhabited the area arose from their sleep.

Sally made sure to stay within the  perimeter Slender told her about. She really did, but as if fate would bestowed it upon her, she encountered the Rake.

The Rake, for the most part, resides in the deepest part of the forest to attack victims who wandered too far. It was also far, far away from Slendermans Manor.

Sally's first instinct told her to run. Although, she could fight, Slender told her to never pick a fight or attempt to run away if she ever met with the creature. The second thing she thought was that she was going to die alone and afraid.

For some reason, the thought of the young, timid man with black oozing eyes came to her. She remembered all the times she rejected his friendship, in fear that he'll hurt her like they did.

Accepting her fate Sally, closed her eyes and awaited the sharp claws to tear her apart.

Only they never came.

The last she saw and heard was the blacking clouding her vision and a familiar sound of static before she blacked out.
