Chapter 13

(Y/n) wanted to share her concerns about rooming with someone she didn't know.

No matter how much they spoke highly about Silver and how he wouldn't try anything with her didn't help to ease her discomfort.

The words were right at the tip of her tongue, but ultimately she held her tongue.

They were already offering her a place to stay and promised to help her with her problem. It wouldn't be right to complain over a small issue. So with a new mindset, (Y/n) made it her mission to make the best out of every situation.

A gentle tap shook her out of her thoughts.

"Don't worry you'll be fine. If there's anyone I could trust in this shitty hole, it's Silver."

(Y/N) sighed. "Why couldn't I have just stayed in your digital world or something."

"It doesn't work like that." Dark explained. "Your presence in your world is different than mine. I only let you stay there for a while because eventually you'll corrupt it."

Which was true.

In (Y/n)'s former home, it was used to her presence. Had evolved so that it would remain intact in her presence. Whereas in Dark's it was slowly breaking down the coding little by little, until eventually there'll be nothing left.

"I know. I'm just not comfortable staying with someone else." (Y/N) sighed, while playing with the ends of thier hair.

"Just try to make the best of it." Dark proceeded to hold her hands. "If I wasn't 100% okay with you sharing a room with Silver, I wouldn't have let it happen. We would've figured something out or find a place for both of us."

Still unsure but trustful of thier brother, (Y/N) nodded. "Fine."

It's funny what love can make you do.

Perhaps one of the first things she noticed about Silver, is that he's very fidgety. She could move her finger just her bit and she's sure he would notice and flinch.

Not to mention he hasn't spoken at all.

Eventually she decided to make the first move.

When that didn't work, she grew desperate for any sort of reaction.

She commented on his room, his decorations, and even tried to lighten the mood with jokes, yet none of it worked. At this point she was more frustrated than anything.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) Silver ran away to who knows where and she was left alone in the dark abyss that is Silvers room. Looking around, she never really realized how gloomy it felt. Perhaps that's why the shy boy is the way he is.

Now, (Y/n) doesn't know how things work around here, but she knows how much people like gifts.

And that's when she had the bright idea to do a little redecorating.

If only she hadn't.

A/N: I got an 82/100 on my psychology exam.....
