Aya's POV

Friday... I opened my eyes and stared at my ceiling. It's been a rough week. Ang daming trabaho sa ospital, to the point na halos dun na ako nakatira. Umuuwi na lang para maligo at magpalit ng damit. But hey, I survived. And now it's Friday!

Friday... It struck me. It's Friday...

"I'll see you Friday."

Knock knock

Keiko entered the room.

Keiko : Rise and shine princess!

Aya : Good morning din.

Keiko : Papasok ka?

Aya : Yup. Mag wrap up lang ng mga bagay bagay sa ospital

Keiko : Dinner tayo after?

Dinner... Friday...

Keiko : Aya? Di pa tayo namamasyal eversince lumipat tayo dito.

Aya : Sorry Kei. I can't. Not tonight.

Keiko : Com'on Aya. Chill naman tayo mamaya.

Aya : I have an appointment.

Keiko smirked at that. I hate it when she does that.

Keiko : Is it the husband?

I just nodded.

Aya : Don't get me wrong. May kailangan lang kami pag-usapan.

Keiko : You sound defensive. Wala naman akong sinabing kahit ano.

Aya : Your face says it all.

Keiko : Fine! I won't insist. I'll let you have your wifey-hubby time tonight. Mag-order na lang ako ng take out.

With that, she left me alone.

Wifey-hubby time. It sounds sweet to the ears, pero not for us. There was never a time such as that before and neither now.

I got up and prepared for the day. I'll try my best to preoccupy myself with my work para hindi ko masyadong isipin yung mamaya.

It's been a very long time, but I guess things doesn't change that much. I am still the same Aya who's head over heels to Rei Otohata.

Rei's POV

I'm just about to finish my Thursday. Yeah, you heard me right. Friday na, pero Thursday pa rin ang tinatapos ko. All nighter.

People are starting to come to the office. I looked at my clock, 9:00AM na pala.

*kring...*

Rei : Yes?

Secretary : Sir, si Sir Yuuya po nandito na.

Aga aga naman sumugod nito.

Rei : Send him in.

The door opened to reveal my best friend. Wala na atang magawa sa buhay to kungdi bulabugin ako.

Rei : What do you want?

Yuuya : Yayain lang kita mag breakfast bago ka umuwi. Your secretary said na di ka daw umuwi.

Rei : Kailangan ko bang matouch sa pagiging caring mo?

Yuuya : Look Rei. You don't have a choice, ako lang naman ang nag-aalaga at nagtitiis sayo. So wag ka nang choosy. Plus, kailangan kitang i-orient sa gagawin mo mamayang gabi.

He smiled and I raised a brow on that.

Mamayang gabi? Ahhh... Oo nga pala. I'll be meeting Aya tonight. Finally.

Accepting defeat, I pilled up my documents and cleaned up my desk. Pero di ako mapalagay dahil nararamdaman kong nakangiti pa rin si Yuuya sa likod ko.

Rei : Really, ano bang masyadong nakakatuwa at hindi matanggal yang ngiti mo?

Yuuya : Nothing. I'm just so happy for you my friend.

Rei : For?

Yuuya : Dude! You're finally meeting her again! Wag mo na i-deny. Alam ko namang mas excited ka kesa sa akin. So let's do this!

He said while all pumped up. Ano kayang tinira nito?

So we left the office and went to the nearest café. We got our orders and I just sat there in silence.

Yuuya : So what's the plan?

Plan? What does he mean by plan?

Yuuya : You know, tonight. Will you be asking her to return? Live like husband and wife again? And be happy forever?

I grabbed the envelop from my case and placed it in front of him.

Yuuya : What's this?

Rei : Buksan mo.

He opened it and read the documents.

Yuuya : Are you insane?! Divorce papers?!

Yup. He said it right. Divorce papers.

Yuuya : At tinulugan ka pa talaga ni Katase para maprepare to? Anong kabaliwan nanaman to Rei?

Rei : I'm ending this.

Yuuya : Nakikita ko nga. Pero bakit? Akala ko ba naadmitt mo na sa sarili mo na mahal mo siya? Tapos ngayon i-lelet go mo? Hindi mo ba narealize na yung kasal niyo na lang ang natitirang alas mo?

Let him say all the things that he can.

Yuuya : Rei naman! Di ba nag-usap na tayo nung nakaraan? Sabi mo you'll make a move. Ang pangit naman ng move mo na to! Brinoadcast mo pa kay Katase! Para mo na ring sinabi sa kanya na "Oh kunin mo na!"

Rei : Tapos ka na?

He sighed then leaned to his chair... Mapapagod din pala siya kakasalita.

Rei : That's my first move. Tatapusin ko na tong arranged marriage na to.

I waited him to react. But he didn't, so I continued.

Rei : And I'll win her the right way this time.

His mouth opened wide in shock. Nakakahiya tong kasama.

Rei : Aya won't say no to this papers. Madali ko siyang mapapapayag na pumirma. Pero just like you, she doesn't know my next move.

And he was back to the reality.

Yuuya : Gaano ka kasigurado na mag-eeffect tong plano mo?

It's my time to smirked.

Rei : I just know. Sabihin mo ng mayabang ako or anything similar to that, but I know she still loves me the same way she did when she left me.

Yuuya : Bravo Rei. Ang laki din ng bilib mo sa sarili mo. I guess I don't have to "orient" you anymore. You have everything planned. Just please, don't screw up this time.

Rei : I won't.

Then we finished our coffee in peace.
