~Detective Mouri POV~
"Damn. Why does a detective like me have to go to an island like this, especially when the weather is so nice?" I say, as I leaning on the railing of the boat I'm riding. "Just because of some stupid letter we got a week ago."
~FLASHBACK BRUH!!~
"On the night of the next full moon, the shadows will again begin to disappear on Tsukikage (Tsu-key-ka-gay) Island. Asou Keji, requesting an investigation." I read aloud, once I'm done the phone starts ringing. I pick it up, "Hello, Mouri Detective Agency." I say into the phone.

"There are two days left until the full moon. I've already paid your 500,000 (4639.50$, still confused on the dollar sign needing to be in front of the amount if we say dollars after the amount... So I'll just put the dollar sign after the amount.) yen fee. Make sure you come," the caller said. "Wait, who the hell is--" I start to say but get interrupted. "This is Asou Keji, from Tsukikage Island." The voice said then hung up. "Hey, wait! Hold on, hello?" I say panicked and wanting to ask more questions.
~BACK TO THE FUTURE (Present)~
"Damn, what an annoying client," I say after remembering why we are here. "Isn't it that we can relax on an island away from home? Right, Conan-kun, Eleanor-chan?" Ran said. "Yup," the freeloaders answer.
~Your POV!!~
"Asou Keji... There's no one here by that name," the reception guy said as he looked at the list. "Can you double check?" Mr. Mouri said, very confused as to why his client's name is not on the list of residents. "I got a request letter from him." "But he's not in the directory, and I just moved here, so I don't know many people on the island." Mr. Receptionist said with an apologetic face. "What's the matter here?" Some man asked as he walked up to Mr. Receptionist "Manager, this gentleman says that he's come under the request of a resident of this island." "A request?" "Yes, from a person called Asou Keji."
"NANI??? FROM ASOU KEJI?!" The manager yelled as he looked scared/surprised.
^Pretty much sums up what all the older people say...
"It can't be! He's been DEAD for over 10 years!" The manager said, still pretty shocked we said his name.
QUE MUSIC FOR A BIT IF YOU HADN'T PLAYED IT YET.
"This island was his hometown, and he became a famous concert pianist. On the night of a full moon 12 years ago, he held a concert in the City Hall. But afterward, he suddenly locked himself and his family in his house and set fire (To the RAINNNNN). He stabbed his wife and daughter, and began playing, amid the flames, as though he were possessed. They say he kept playing Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata' on his piano..."
After that little talk with the Manager, we went outside and just sat in the shade. I pulled out my headphones and started listening to (f/m). "Hm. A prank letter... what a bad joke." Mr. Mouri said, even though I was listening to music, it doesn't mean I have it loud like I usually have it at. "Not necessarily," I say before Jimmy just so I can get some lines in. "The fee has been paid, and the postmark is from this island. I'm sure someone on this island wants you to investigate that Asou Keji, Uncle," Jimmy says, 'He said, Uncle...' I thought sweatdropping. "That's right. They said the mayor was his friend. Maybe he will know something," Ran said continuing Jimmy's idea. "You're right," Mr. Mouri said as he looked at the letter. "They said the Mayor would be in City Hall, didn't they?" He questions to himself as the next song plays, it so happens to be Moonlight Sonata. "You like that song? Even after what the manager said?" Jimmy asked me as he saw what I was listening to. "Yeah? So what? It seems like you don't like the song only because someone said they killed some people and then killed themselves with fire while playing the song. Scared?" I fire back at him, "W-well, I thought you would be the scared one! I'm not scared of that stupid story!" Jimmy said in self-defense he also had a little blush on his cheeks. 'Yeah, he is totally scared, and I was savage... ha... ha... ha... I suck at comebacks...'
"Understand, Kenta-kun? You need to get plenty of rest." Some nurse doctor lady said to a little kid. "Okay! See ya!" The kid responded as he ran off. "Bye-bye!" "Um, excuse me? Where is the City Hall?" I questioned for all of us. "Oh, just turn at that corner, and go straight until a T-junction... (Three-way corner thingy road) Say, are you all from Tokyo?" Doctor lady asked after giving us directions. "Yes, we came by boat a little while ago," Ran answered for us. "Really? I'm from Tokyo too. But isn't this island nice too? It has such a calm air and it's so quiet!" The doctor exclaimed as she stretched her arms out.
"VOTE FOR SHIMIZU MASATO!" A van like car drove by yelling out at everyone so they know to 'vote for Shimizu Masato'. "Well, the mayor elections are coming up soon." "Oh, the elections." Mr. Mouri said as he looked behind us as the van left.
