I hate high school.

For some people, it's the greatest thing ever, but not for me.

I have almost no friends and everyone hates me. I'm the outsider. Sometimes I feel like I'll never fit in.

The worst part is, the only guy I like, Mick, doesn't even know I exist. He's one of the most popular guys at Y/S, plus he's a Senior, I'm only a Junior. He's never even glanced at me once I'll bet.

It was a typical Monday so far. Almost missed my bus, some asshole tripped me in the hallways, forgot my homework, Monday's am I right.

I was rushing to get to third period when I ran into someone in the hallways.

"Oh sorry" I said glancing up to see it was none other than Mick Jagger.

"It's ok" he said as he continued walking down the hall.

The bell finally went signalling the end of the day. I went out to the parking lot and saw Mick with his friends. As I went to unlock my car, I noticed Mick staring at me.

As soon as I made eye contact with him, he looked down. I got in my car and drove away, relieved that this day was over. I had a huge test the next day so I went to the library to study.

I was studying my notes and the textbook when I heard a voice.

"Is this seat taken"

I looked up and saw Mick gesturing to the seat beside me

"N-no" was all I could say.

Holy Shit. The most popular guy in school is siting next to me. This can't be happening.

His voice broke the silence "I'm Mick"

"Y/N" I replied

"Your that girl I ran into right before third period right?"

All I could do was nod. I felt my cheeks burning red. I looked down and hid my face in my hair.

"Whatcha studying for?"
"I got a huge math exam tomorrow"
"Which teacher?"
"Buck"
" ooh, he's a tough one. I had him last year, almost flunked that class"
"Why are you in here"
"Can't a guy just come in here on a Monday after school"
"He can, but usually only geeks come in here for fun, and I'm pretty sure your not one"
"Shhhh"

We slightly laughed at the nerd who had shushed us.

"How about you say we go get something to eat when we leave here" Mick asked after a moment of silence.

I couldn't believe it. Mick Jagger, the most popular guy in school just asked me out. I closed my book.

"Lead the way"
