She looked through her notebook, trying to find the idea she had written down for her book until a knock was heard.
She hesitantly stood up from the desk, and walked across the small apartment.
"Um, hello?" She questioned the unfamiliar face.
"H-have you seen a bulldog?! It's name is Edward. Please tell me you have!" That frantic man asked, startling the citizen.
"No I haven't. I'm sorry. I hope you find your puppy." She replied, slowly closing the door.
"Shit. Oswald is going to kill me"
She shut the door and walked back to her desk.
A bulldog walks across the room and sits at the base of the chair.
"Sorry Ed, I have to keep you a bit longer to get what I want." She said as she patted his head.
