[Seulgi's POV]
I let out a sigh while staring at the calendar blankly. Today is the worst day of the month. The official and the annual Purging of SM-JYG University.
"Ms. Kang, Son YN and Park Roseanne were reportedly missing" one of my bodyguard's inform while standing outside my office. "Missing?" I ask, getting worried because this is YN's first time participating in Purging, and surely no doubt, she'll be the main target for tonight aside from me. "Yes, Ms. Kang. We already searched the whole university, but there were no sign of them" he explained while bowing his head apologetically. I'll make sure to fire them first thing tomorrow, but there should be another option for this right. "Go find Kim Jisoo and Lisa Manoban" I instruct, looking at him blankly at the same time. "Those two are nowhere to be found as well, Ms. Kang" another bodyguard response. Where the heck are you, YN?
"Where are you going Ms. Kang? You can't go out alone" the head bodyguard stated, and blocks my way, which I look at him dead in the eye. I'm so not in the mood to argue with him at the moment. "I'll be roaming around the University to check the students" I deadpan while pushing him to the side. He stepped aside, then bows his head. "Make sure Ms. Kang is safe" he ordered his men. One of them opens the door for me, and I quickly left my office, then start doing my thing.
"Put this on here" I heard Tzuyu suggested to Mina. Both of them are busy putting some traps in their area. "Hey, Eonnie" Mina greeted me while showing me her famous gummy smile. I smiled back and wave her goodbye. I decided to visit Jihyo next and the rest of the student council. My way there is peaceful since almost everyone is busy protecting their places and themselves for tonight's purging. I knock on the door twice, and to my shock, Nayeon-ssi opens the door instead of the President. "Come in" she said while letting me in. Upon entering, I saw Jihyo sitting on her swivel chair. "Be protected" I remind her while plastering a smile. "We will" Jihyo said, then shows me a thumbs up. I nodded my head, and about to leave when-- "Hey?" Nayeon-ssi called which I look at her while motioning her to continue. "Stay safe" she said, and smile at me as well. I bid them goodbye then left.
"Make sure we have a lot of bullets for tonight" I heard a familiar voice by the distance. It was audible for me to hear because it's not that far from where I'm at. I followed the direction of the voice, then turned left. By the end of the hallway, stood a bunch of bodyguards, maybe 15 or 20 of them. "How did they get in here?" I ask myself while observing them at the same time. "Seulgi eonnie?" I flinch on my spot when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to face her, and see it was just Jeongyeon whose looking at me confusedly. "Y-yeah?" I mentally cursed myself for stuttering. "What are you doing in there, and what are you peeking at?" she asked while eyeing me suspiciously. "W-who are t-they?" I ask, fidgeting my fingers. She looks at them while raising an eyebrow. "Uh them. That's YN and her damn bodyguards" she answered while smirking. "Those guys will help those students in need later" she added, then starts brushing her bangs using her hand. "Help?" I ask, feeling confused. She nodded in response, then suddenly wave at the person I don't want to be near me anymore.
"Hi, Jeong" YN greeted her after excusing herself from those big guys that surrounding her. "Looking gorgeous, Son" then Yoo Jeongyeon starts complimenting her. Seriously? Right in front of my salad? Wow.
"And you look so divine~" then YN plays along. I didn't know that she has that kind of side huh. "Didn't know you're rich as fuck, bruh" Jeongyeon said while punching YN on her shoulder playfully which I secretly roll my eyes, then bid Yoo goodbye. "I can buy this university in 1 snap though" then YN said in a duh tone. Gosh. She's so annoying. Is she saying that on purpose? I won't still forgive her for throwing that hotdog bun on my head. Tsk. I ignored her words, and stomp my way back to my office, then slam the door close. I sat on my swivel chair while calming my nerves. "Ms. Kang, we already found, So--" then I cut him off while glaring at him at the same time. "I know. I saw her" I hiss at him, and orders them to get out of my office. I want to be alone. I hate you, Son YN. Geez. "I can buy this university in 1 snap" I mimic her while rolling my eyes.
