Chapter 23: Apologizing

Scott's POV
So I'm on YouTube right now, I miss Anne so I'm watching the video where Anne is with me. Seeing the views rising up is making me so happy. I've watched it so many times that I can't even count it. Who counts how many times they've watched something anyway?

I pause the video when I heard someone knocking on my door. I looked at it and it's the one and only Mitch Grassi.

I left the door open and went back to the couch to continue watching the video. There's an awkward silence but Mitch interrupted the silence by saying "Scott, can we talk?"

I just nodded my eyes still glued to my laptop.

"Scott, can I ask you something?"

"You just did" I answered still not looking at him.

"Can I ask two questions?" He asked.

"You already did."

"Can I ask you four questions then?" I can hear that he's becoming impatient with me. But I decided to irritate him more.

"You just did again..." I finally look at him and I smirk.

"Ugh! When?" He shouted throwing his hands in frustration.

"Now." I laughed.

"Scott I'll do anything in order for you to forgive me" Mitch pleaded. He falls down to his knees and connect his hands together and pouted.

Hmm... Did he say anything? This is going to be fun.

Kirstin's POV
I'm freaking out! We reached one thousand subscribers in a day? In a day! Just one whole freaking day! I can feel my excitement filling up my body I'm going to Jacob's house for another video and I'm meeting his sister.

I parked my car in front of Jacob's house and I knocked on the door. I'm so surprised when I saw someone familiar I'm not expecting her to be here. She's dating Jacob too? she showed me a faked smile and let me come inside the house.

"Kirstin here!" Jacob shouted.

I glared at the girl and I ran to Jacob in the basement that's where the studio is. I can feel someone is following me. I glance at my back and I saw the girl, what is she doing here? She's Jacob's girlfriend? If she's Jacob's girlfriend then I can't believe her!

"There you are, Kirstin! that's my sister Anne."

I looked at Anne, yes that girl that I'm talking about this whole time is Anne. As in the Anne, Scott Hoying's beloved girlfriend.

I faked a smile at her I guess I'm going to pretend that I didn't know her. I think she's doing it too because she smiled back, but I can smell a plastic burning in here. If Jacob is not here, his sister is probably dead by now.

But I can't do that because that would be weird. He thinks that we don't know each other and I out of nowhere killed her? But maybe I can try that? Uh no. Maybe.

I shake her hands and said my name. She's not letting my hand go and Jacob is looking at us weirdly. I tightened my grip on her hand and he let it go.

"Anne, we're making a video and sadly you're not in it can you please kindly go away?" I asked Anne wearing my annoying fake smile. She rolled her eyes and walk away.

"Kirstie," Jacob warned me. I look at him with innocent eyes and asked.

"What?"

Instead of replying to me with his voice he just gets the camera and we start the video.

The video is about us. Our viewers are rising up and there are people who want to know more about us. Why not make a video and state some facts coming from us. So they're not doubting if it's true or not because it's coming from us. We can always lie but we agreed on telling them all, except for some personal things.

I went home I don't want to stay longer in that house. I parked my car in my garage but I'm stopped by Mitch Grassi.

"Hello Kirstin" he smiled.

"Uh hello?"

I opened my door and he went inside without even asking my permission! He's creepy.

"Can you forgive me? I'm sorry." He asked me.

"I'm not sure."

"Fine!" He shouted. What's wrong with this guy?

He lashed out and I saw him ran away. There's a problem in his brain.

Mitch's POV
I ran away from Kirstin's house and I went back to Scott's house. I walked inside without knocking knowing that Scott's door is not locked. He doesn't lock it when he's home.

I searched every corner of Scott's house but I still can't see him.

"Scott I'm not that patient to do your command!" I shouted in the living room hoping that he would hear it wherever he's hiding.
