"I'll get it sweetie!" Mom shouted from the bottom of the steps and I kept on dressing up, like really who would've thought I'd make a fuss of what I wear to school one day but still it was first day after all and Aditja would go crazy if I wore something simple so I decided to wear a black skater dress with lace and black heels it didn't look too flashy so there was no way I was showing Ad my choice of outfit on such a special day (do note my sarcasm). Sitting on my mirror chair and doing my hair the door burst open and a jolly Andre walked in "ready for school cupcake?" He asked "almost" I said weakly
"What's wrong?" He suddenly looked concerned
"Nothing cuppy I'm just scared" I confessed
"Of?" He asked
"This whole new school thing" I admitted
"Awwww come here cupcake" I stood up and hugged him back, man he really had a hard chest right there. He kissed my forehead and I giggled "feeling better already?"
"Yes" I said as I let go of him and I applied my lip gloss
"Lets go Andy Cuppy" I said happily
"OK! And you look stunning" he complimented and I winked then walked on.
"Breakfast people, ain't nobody living my house starved!" mom ordered and we obeyed.
I finished my food first so I stood up and left Andre and mom talking while I went to get my keys "let's go boy'' I said
"No no Missy I'm taking you guys to school" mom said
"Ahhh do you have to?" I asked feeling annoyed
"Yes honey I do" mom said
"Not happening darling mother' sit yourself down and be busy and I'll drive Andre and I to school" I said imitating Oprah's voice
"Emily" my mom started and before she could continue with one of her long ass speeches about how important first day of school is I cut her short with a simple
"No mom" and rolled my eyes
"You see Mrs K. I'm afraid I agree with cuppy on this one" Andre said
"What?" Mom asked
"Its not really a good thing being dropped of by your mom at school, it has a bad rep." Andre said carefully a though instilling a little piece o information in a child's mind.
"Fine" mom huffed and I kissed her cheek as Andre and I took our bags and left.
"Park right there, its your new spot" Andre said
"Uhm OK" "cool you might have to go to the office to get your timetable alright?" He said "sure" is all I said
"Come I'll take you there my dear cupcake" he said and I laughed as we locked hands and went up to the entrance. The school was really a marvelous sight, red walls and students in uniforms walking and chatting freely.
