Chapter_Three: Dinner, Tears and Picnics

*Emily's POV*

Getting ready felt like a task I wasn't willing to complete as laziness took over me, walking up the steps to my bedroom was a task on its own but finally I made it, I decided to take a short shower because I needed time to do my hair and make-up, I hate make up but sometimes I was up for it, usually for special events like these, I don't know why but I wanted to impress this boy, he was handsome, I have no experience in boys whatsoever but I liked Andre and I surprised myself by giving him a kiss on the cheek, God what was I thinking? I am one Stupid child.

Walking into my walk in closet I pulled out a grey knee length dress and black pumps I straightened my hair and decided to let it hang on my breasts and back, I put way too little make-up like I always did and I put transparent cherry gloss, I love lip gloss. I dropped my phone on my bed and stood up looking at myself in the mirror and thinking of how plain I looked and what a nobody I was but I quickly erased that thought willing myself for a wonderful night. I walked down the steps and entered the living room to find everyone there already- my mom included.

"Oh sweetie, finally you join us..." she said standing up to welcome me

"... this is Mr Johnson and Mrs Johnson darling and that is Andrico the first son and the little girl is the youngest sibling Sammy" mom said as I smiled at everyone genuinely and got hugs and greetings from everyone

"...and this is my daughter Emily Kirk, Emily I'm sure you've met Andre so no need for introductions" she said directing to me at first and I sat down next to Andre after the introductions

"You look very nice" Andre whispered and I rolled my eyes,

Dinner was simple and quite.
