Chapter 6

Kayley's POV

"Hello?" he answered.

"Hey, it's-"

"KAYLEY!" he interrupted me.

I chuckled, "Haha, hey."

"So what's up?" he asked.

Oh, I don't know, let's see. I just broke up with my boyfriend who threatened to kill me, I drenched my new shirt with my tears, I got my favorite pants dirty (I'd have to wash them), and I'm holding a broken iPhone to the side of my face. "Nothing much. What about you?"

Niall saw through my lie like it was invisible. "No, something's wrong. Tell me."

"I'd rather not talk about it..." I said slowly.

I heard Niall sigh. Not an annoyed sigh, but like, a sigh that's like... I don't know. I can't explain it. I just know it wasn't a mean sigh. "You know you can tell me anything, love. I'm here for you if you need me."

Aww, he called me "love". I had an idea... "Niall, can I ask you a huge favor?"

"Anything, babe," he said. 'Babe.' He called me 'babe.' FANGIRLING!

"Can you meet me at that park near-?"

"The park near our hotel?" he asked.

"Yeah," I replied. "That one."

"I'll see you there in a couple minutes!" he said excitedly.

"Bye," I said, letting the smile show through my voice. We hung up. I was sitting there smiling. I finally got up an walked to the kitchen to get something to eat before I left. I saw Kate and Alice sitting in the kitchen, drinking tea.

"Hey," I said.

They smiled. "You're awake," Alice said.

"Yeah, I guess I am," I chuckled. I grabbed a banana and my keys off the counter.

"Where are you going?" Kate asked.

I wanted to say, "Nowhere," but I didn't wanna lie to my bestest friend ever. So I said, "Back to the park."

"Why?" they asked in unison.

I sighed. "I'm meeting Niall."

Kate gave me a weird look. "Niall? Niall who?"

Oh yeah, she didn't know yet. Whoops.

"Well," I started. "Me, Alice, and my two new friends Christie and Grace went to Nando's last night and sort of ran into One Direction."

Her jaw dropped. "YOU MET ONE DIRECTION?!"

I sighed again. "Yeah... And," I started to fangirl, "Niall gave me his number!"

She freaked out. Like legit breakdown. She dropped her mug on the table, spilling the tea all over it. She jumped out of her chair, causing it to fall over onto the floor. She then proceeded to run, jump, and dance around the kitchen screaming, until she just collapsed on the floor, gasping for air.

"You done yet?" I asked, trying not to laugh.

She gave me a dirty look. "No." Then she just spazzed out on the floor. Twitching included. Just as I thought she was done, she screamed one more time, closed her eyes, and went limp on the floor. I ran over to her and checked her pulse. Her heart was still beating, and she was still breathing. I thought she might've just fainted or something, but as I got up, her eyes popped open and she screamed, "SURPRISE!" before closing her eyes again. Give me a massive heart attack, why don't ya? I can see how Louis is her favorite.
