 Martyn saw me. 

 My whole body froze up as I looked across at the others. Tango looked at me, " He saw you didn't he?" he hissed in a low voice. I nodded at him awkwardly as he shook his head. Tango's tail thrashed as he looked out the window.

 " Yeah, Martyn is at the door.... Zee is trying to rip the ooze off of his face." Tango reported as he looked back at the others. Netty's ears perked up at the sound of the others' names. She turned back to her human-hybrid self.

 Netty leaned forward, " M-martyn?" her voice was soft as Tango nodded. The hybrid's ears went down, " Is.... Is he okay?" she questioned as Tango's shoulders drooped. He explained what Martyn looked like, and it caused Netty to grab at her tail.

 The Evolutionist stood up and clenched her fists, " We need to save them...." her eyes narrowed dangerously. Her tail thrashed behind her as she bared a sharp fang.

 Now, I admit that I don't know a thing about love. Heck, the closest thing I had for a crush was on Rendog, but he's in love with Doc. 

 Netty pulled an axe out of her inventory and looked at us, " I am going down there. Join me if you like, but do not try and stop me dear hermits." she threatened. I gulped as Netty went downstairs.

 Tango got up and shifted into his power form. He let out small groan as his horns pierced his head. The hermit looked at me, " Go get X's attention. I'm heading down there." he narrowed his eyes.

 When Tango left, I got up and went over to X. The admin was leaning against the couch with his eyes darting around the purple visor. 

 " X?" I shook his shoulder causing the purple screen to turn off. X took his helmet off, " W-wha- Where? " he looked over to where Netty and Tango originally were. I told him what was happening causing him to jump up. 

 X looked over at Mumbo as the hermit raised his head. Mumbo breathed heavily, " I... I can talk again...?" he sounded unsure of himself. I helped the hermit sit up and nodded at him. Mumbo's breathing soon calmed down as he leaned back.

 " I know why Tango had to do it, but....." Mumbo rubbed his throat. The hermit sighed as he looked down at his hands, " You... You two go downstairs... I... I can watch after Rik." he whispered as I nodded.

 " Rest easy Oli. X and I got this." I smirked at him. The two of us looked at each other, nodded, and hurried downstairs. 

 Downstairs, Netty was at the door. Her ears were twitching as Martyn busted the door open. Netty and Tango took a step back as Martyn made a muffled screeching noise. He thrashed and stumbled around as he focused his attention on Netty.

 Tango narrowed his eyes and growled as his wings flapped. The wind from his wings caused Martyn to stumble. He made a muffled noise as he started to shake. Martyn charged towards Netty with his arms out. His hands were bended like claws as he came towards the hybrid.

 " Mrmrmrmrrrrr...." Martyn mumbled in his muffled way. Netty leapt out of the way causing Martyn to collapse to the ground after tripping over himself. Tango took out a rope and looked at me and X.

 " Go outside and drag Zee in here....." Tango ordered with a snarl. X and I nodded and hurried outside. The cold chilled my very core as I cautiously grabbed Zee's arm. The evolutionist started to panic as he shook.

 " I-I-I-I-I-I-I.... Don't please! Let go... Let go of me Mini! You aren't yo-" I gently put my hand over his mouth and threw him over my shoulder. Zee shrugged and continued to panic, " I-I-I-I-I won't lash out anymore. I won't try to fight the ooze... Please just put me down!" 

 X put his hand on Zee's ooze covered eyes. He gently cleared the sludge away as we entered the building. When we reentered the room, Netty closed and worked on locking the door. I sat Zee down onto the couch. He breathed slowly as X continued with clearing the sludge.

 I looked over at Tango as he tied Martyn open. He was pulling the ooze off of Martyn's mouth after doing that. Martyn started to breathe heavily as he stuck his tongue out, " I....I'm sorry... I.. I can't.." he thrashed and tried to bite bash his skull against Tango's wrist.

 " I.... I can't control myself.... I'm sorry again Tango..." Martyn sighed as he closed his glowing eyes. Tango took the band around Martyn's forehead and tied it gently around his eyes. Tango crossed his arms and waited.

 A minute would pass, and Martyn didn't lash out. Tango's eyes glowed, " Your eyes have been corrupted. When we get this mess fixed, I bet that Jevin, Cleo, or TFC could fix your eyes." he told him with a smile.

 Martyn rubbed his mouth with his hand. He listened carefully, " Where are Netty and Zee?" he questioned as Netty came over to Martyn. Netty's eyes were watering as she wrapped her arms around Martyn's neck. The two nuzzled against each other.

 " Where's Zee?" Martyn questioned tiredly. Netty looked over at X and Zee. The whites and pupils of Zee's eyes were clouded over. Zee looked over at Martyn and Zee's direction when he heard his name.

 Zee breathed heavily, " I.... I'm over here... That thing that got us.... It affected my eyes too...." he mumbled with a frown. 

 We all sighed as Tango's horns glowed. He picked both Martyn and Zee up causing the two to freeze up and panic. Netty soothed the two men as they all went upstairs.

 I looked at X and sighed, " We need to get up to that castle." I whispered as he nodded. The two of us went upstairs after the others.
