*flashback*
"Ya gotta stand up for yourself, Jen." Little Liv stated, eating her third grade snack. "Don't call me that." Jenny snapped, "It's Jenny or Jennifer. Never Jen." Jenny took a bite of her animal cracker. "Whatever, Jen." Liv said, "Sera wont stop until you actually push her back." "But I'll get in trouble?" Jenny's mother would beat her ass if she got into a fight. "So your just gonna sit there and get beat up?" Liv rolled her eyes. "It's okay, I got your back." She kissed Jenny's bruises head and gave her the rest of her animal crackers.
*years later, tenth grade*
Both girls wore black. Jenny was crying uncontrollably into Liv's shoulder. The funeral was open casket and liv guessed seeing her mother like that, pale and still, was just to much. Liv has always trouble feeling remorse but when it came to Jenny, she always wanted her to be happy. Later the girls accepted random dishes made by loved ones to help Jenny grieve. She'd be staying with Liv's family for awhile until she was 18 and able to get an apartment. Liv and Jenny has planned to live together after high school.
*senior year*
"Have you seen liv today?" Jenny asked Travis. He shook his head, "No." He said, "and like... don't talk to me anymore okay? I don't like you." Jenny sighed and rolled her eyes at her ex. "Boy, get over yourself, you ain't all that." And walked away. She'd called liv four times, no answer. She wasn't even reading Jenny's texts. When Jenny got home, Liv's grandparents weren't there. After searching the whole house, she finally reached the bathroom. When she opened the door, she saw something tragic that she'd never be able to unsee. There Liv was, in the tub, which was full of water and red blood. A razor was on the floor, Liv's arms hung loosely over the side of the tub, her body sunken deeper into the water, her chin resting on her chest, her skin pale as a ghost, and lips abnormally blue. Jenny screamed.
*end of flashback*
Jenny woke up in cold sweat. She couldn't get in image of Liv out of her head. She looked around her pitch black room and turned on the light just as her phone rang, making her jump. It was Yoongi. For some reason relief fell over her as she answered the phone. "Jenny." He spoke into the phone. "Yeah?" She answered. "Do you want to see me?" "Now?" Jenny checked the time. It was 12:30 am. "Yeah, now." Yoongi said, "I cant sleep." "Me either." Jenny replied, "So sure." When Yoongi picked her up he was wearing sweat pants and a hoodie, the same as Jenny. His hair was a mess, just like Jenny's. "You okay?" He asked Jenny. She shrugged. "I will be." But then she started to cry. Yoongi shifted uncomfortably. He awkwardly patted her head, making her laugh. "What the hell?" Jenny cried, wiping her tears. "I'll be fine." Yoongi was quiet. They rode all around town for about two hours, until Jenny fell asleep.
