Jenny sat on the back of the bus by herself. It was late and hardly anyone was riding tonight, just an older lady and a couple up front. Jenny pulled out her sketch book and began to sketch the calm scene in front to her. A melancholy looking older woman staring out the window at the rain. The bus suddenly stopped, jerking Jenny forward a bit, messing up her sketch.
"Damn." She muttered under her breath, she heard the bus doors close and someone sat next to her. Looking up at the person, he wore all black, with black hair and dark almond shaped eyes. He finally turned to look at her when they both realized she was staring.
"Why are you sitting next to me?" She asked him. He didn't answer so she tried again in korean. She'd learned the language before deciding to move here and to her surprise, it was fairly easy for her to learn. The guy smirked at her.
"I speak English." He replied in a deep voice. "Oh okay." Jenny said, "Where are you headed?" He stares ahead and answered, "my hotel." "Oh." "Are you sketching that lady?" He asked and Jenny blushed, hiding her work under her bag in her lap. The bus stopped and let the couple off. "Yeah, I was." Jenny mumbled and the guy nodded, "It's nice." Jenny thanked him but he didn't answer. "Wanna go to my hotel room?" He asked abruptly. Jenny choked on air. "Are you asking me this because you think Americans are easy?" She snapped, the guy chuckled. "Cause I'm Mexican." She stated. This made him laugh. "I mean I moved from America but I was born in Mex-" "I get it." He cut her off in korean. "naneun danji eotteon hoesaleul wonhanda." (I just want some company) (btw I used google so if it translated wrong I'm so sorry😂) Jenny didn't really have anything planned and her room mate had went to bed early. She didn't know many people from this country and this guy was pretty attractive. She remembered Liv telling her before she came that other countries could be dangerous but to have fun. Jenny was also naive and believed him when he said he just wanted company because she knew what it was like to be lonely. "Do you?" He prodded for an answer and Jenny just nodded and put her sketch book away. "Okay."

"Are you hungry?" He asked Jenny when she got off. "I don't know your name." She said, feeling stupid. Who goes to a hotel with a stranger and doesn't even ask their name? "Uh..." he hesitated, "Yoongi." "I'm Jenny." She told him with a smile. He just stared blankly at her face. What if he kills me, she thought to herself. "But yeah I'm hungry, actually." She continued, "I just got off work." "Me too." Yoongi said, and began to walk. (My hotel is over there but there is a good place close by) "nae hotel-eun jeogie issjiman geuncheoe joh-eun jangsoga issseubnida." "Okay." Jenny replied in English, afraid of pronouncing something in korean wrong. That was her biggest fear when speaking another language. They reached a restaurant that smelled amazing and he ordered for her. She didn't know what it was called but she finished before him. They talked about random things over the meal and he even smiled a little, which Jenny noticed he rarely did. She liked his gummy little smile and planned on making him laugh more. After they finished, Yoongi payed and they began to walk back to his hotel. He even let her wear her his jacket because she was cold and left hers in the classroom. The hotel was big and expensive, Jenny noticed and wondered if this Yoongi guy was rich. He opened the door for her and sure enough, the hotel room was luxurious.
"Damn, yoongs." Jenny said, flopping on the bed and kicking off her shoes. "Make yourself a home." Yoongi smiled at her and removed his own shoes. She saw him go to the bathroom and return in Gray sweatpants and a white tee shirt, he threw a pair of shorts at her and a tank top. "Are these yours?" Jenny asked, and he nodded. "How are you so sure I'm staying the night?" She glared at him. He smiled sarcastically. "Because your already here and it's 2:00 am. It's dangerous out there right now." She went to go change and when she came back, he was already asleep. So much for "company."
