The Scarlet Flower

Prologue

"Hanabi, I have seen the fear in your heart..." The Shadow traitor said to me in a deep baritone voice, his eyes were all red as if he has finally become the demon himself. I was struggling to maintain my balance as I feel my blood dripping out. Here I am trying to prove to be the better ninja than that snot nose shadow yet It seems like I have met my untimely demise.

"...as a scarlet shadow nearly collapsed, LET'S FINISH IT NOW" Hanzo continued as he charged his way to me. I closed my eyes ready to face my tragic death when out of nowhere an umbrella shielded me from what could possibly be a brutal attack I looked at the direction of where it came from and there stood Kagura. Everything must have happened so fast because now I seem to notice the arms that was carrying me away from the Shadow traitor, that familiar smell that I claim to hate but either way it was the same smell that I've been secretly longing for, Hayabusa.

"Are you out of your mind?!" I could tell that he was angry but I couldn't be more angry with myself. What a shame, how shameful it is to be the lady in distress being rescued by your rival and his lover. He layed me down under a tree and ran back without saying another word or even looking at me. I could tell he was pissed but nevertheless I know I'm not gonna sit here and watch them finish off Hanzo all by to themselves. I attempted to stand up but there was an excruciating pain on my lower left rib, it was where the blood has been dripping out. I tore a part of my dress attempting to patch the wound.

It must have took me a while to get back because now Kagura was on the ground wounded but not as bad as me and Hayabusa was nowhere to be found. I noticed that Hanzo's left eye bleeding it must have been from Haya's katana. Then I saw Hayabusa behind Hanzo ready to attack him from behind and as Hanzo turned his back to counter Haya with his demon thorn Kagura tackled him with her Yin-yang overturn but Hanzo was able to dodge both. He laughed hysterically as if this was something that entertains him more than anything. I used the last remaining mana for the forbidden Jutsu Higanbana and atlas it caught Hanzo I guess he wasn't expecting me to still be able to stand up after the fight earlier.

"Hanabi, you are just too stubborn to die aren't ya?" His attention was now unto me but we have to quickly take advantage of this moment before the Higanbana loses effect and as if Hayabusa read my mind he used his quad shadow to teleport away from Hanzo's grip. "Kagura, your umbrella" Kagura nodded and used her Umbrella flee to escape Hanzo. I threw the ninjutsu petal barrage to distract Hanzo as Hayabusa finished him off with Ouji shadow kill.
