After the argument, time slowly slipped by, everyone doing their own thing.
Claire was staring into space, bored out of her mind.
Bender was lighting his cigarette with his shoe, which greatly amused Rebecca, who was reading a book.
Brian was sitting awkwardly in his seat, while Andrew was playing with his hoodie strings. Rebecca wasn't quite sure what Allison was doing, although her facial expressions told Rebecca it was painful.
This was how the next couple of hours went, everyone, doing whatever it was that entertained them.
By the time lunch rolled around, everyone in the room was asleep.
"Wake up!" Vernon yelled.
His words received no response, seeing as everyone kept their heads down.
"Who has to go to the lavatory?" Vernon then asked, receiving a raised hand from every teenager in the room.
When everyone came back, they were all sitting on one side of the room. Andrew was stretching out on one of the railing guards, while Rebecca was sitting on the railing.
Claire was sitting in what was Rebecca's seat, while Brian just stood near Rebecca.
Bender was sitting on a bookshelf tearing apart one of the library books.
Rebecca caught one of the pages as it almost hit her in the face.
"That's real intelligent!" Andrew commented.
"You're right, it's wrong to destroy literature. It's such fun to read." Bender spoke without emotion before turning the book over to find the title.
"Moliere really pumps my nads!" Bender spoke sarcastically, mispronouncing the name.
"Moliere," Rebecca repeats, smiling at him as she speaks the correct name.
Bender stares at the blonde, causing her to smile a little more.
"I love his work." Brian commented, causing Bender to throw book pages at his face for interrupting.
Rebecca laughs as Brian hides behind the wall.
"There's nothing to do when you're locked into vacancy." Bender spoke as he gets rid of the torn book and picks something else up.
"Speak for yourself!" Andrew tells the criminal.
"Do you think I'd speak for you, I don't even know your language!" Bender backfires.
Deciding not to comment, Andrew turns to Claire.
"Hey, you grounded tonight?" Andrew asks the redhead.
"I don't know. My mom said I was, but my dad told me to just to blow her off." Claire responded. Andrew turned to Bender as he continues playing with paper.
"Big party at Stubby's. His parents are in Europe. It should get pretty wild." Andrew tells her.
"Yeah?" Claire asked.
"Yeah." Andrew replied.
"You going to go?" Andrew asked this time looking at both girls.
"I doubt it." Claire responded as Rebecca just shook her head.
"How come?" Andrew asked Claire.
"Well because if I do what my mother tells me not to do, it's because my father said it's okay. It's like this whole, big monster deal. It's endless. It's a total drag. It's like any minute, divorce!" Claire explains.
