It was break time , Michael went to settle Zed's problem with dragon and Quine was upset with Zed so Zed had to sit alone in the cafeteria . Zed ate his lunch in silence .
After School Zed went to Quine " Should i walk you home ? " . " No thanks ! " Quine said and walked out of the locker room . Zed thought he should give her some space after what he had done . Zed went to his job after all he has to take good care of him and his mother who was weak and scared . " Zed wait " shouted Michael " Dragon has agreed to select you " . " Really ?? Wow thanks dude " . " but there's one condition " . " what ? " asked zed . " I can't tell you right now but meet us in the backyard of my house at 5:00 okay ? " . " I don't think so i can be there " . " why ? " asked Michael . " There's this strange guy who has been attacking me at a specific time and its after 5:00 " . " Okay i will come to your house then ". " Thanks dude you are the best " .
Zed went home that evening to find the house empty . Where was mom ? Zed thought .
It was 6:00 when Michael came to Zed's house . " so the one condition is you have to write something about Dragon in your next writing material " . " What ? Thats it ? " " Yeah . What else were you thinking ? " ." I thought he would ask me to cut one of my arms " laughed zed followed by Michael .
Zed and Michael were discussing their homework just then zed's mom came to michael . " Son why don't you eat dinner with us . I have cooked chicken soup and some meat balls " . Michael raised an eyebrow . " Really i can do that ? " Zed nodded . " Ofcoarse i will thank you " . That day Zed and Michael enjoyed alot . It was late when Michael said " I think we should call it a night " . " Yeah sure see you at school " said Zed . It was 8:00 . When the doorbell rang . This time mother answered the door . " Who is it ? " . No response . " Zed . Zed can you come down for a sec ? " . " Coming ! " Zed said . When Zaid came down he saw mother lying on the floor and the girl whose always around when this idiot is attacking was leaning on the floor face covered with a scarf . " Mom ! Are you okay ? Who did this ? " .Zed helped mom sit on the couch . " i went to answer the phone when a guy knocked me out and this nice girl helped me " . Zed looked at the girl lying on the floor zed could see her shiny clips in her hair . Zed helped her up but she couldn't even stand properly so Zed had to carry her on the sofa . " Excuse me ? Are you alright ? " . The girl whispered " Help . My back " . Zed looked at her back to find a pocket knife stabbed on her back . It was not that serious because it was only a small but deep cut . Zed cleaned the wound and gave pain killers to the girl after that he helped her mom to her bedroom for rest .
" Help !" . Said the girl . " Who are you and why did you stake your life for my mother ? " . " Help " . Zed checked her wound again . Zed saw another cut on her arm and he began to clean it , he was so close to her that he could even smell the perfume she was wearing and it was very similar . Zed at once knew who she was . He tried to unscarf her face but she didn't allow him still anxious he unscarfed her face to reveal Quine . " Oh my god was it you all the time ? " . Quine nodded crying . " Hey please Quine i'm sorry this was the reason i harshly kicked you out my house " . " You see this was the reason . You should stay for the night at my guest room and i will take you to the hospital tomorrow after all this is all my fault . " I am sorry Zed . I was worried for you . Because you are the only precious thing in my life . I love you " Saying this Quine started crying . " Quine please don't cry . I am right here . I love you too and i care for you too " . Zed came closer to her , Quine came closer too and then they both kissed . Tears rolling down Quine's eyes were telling how much she meant it what she had just confessed . ♥️
