The notebooks were burned and the ashes were thrown along with Zed's piece of work . Zed took out a new paper and wrote that again but this time he focussed more on the main point rather than writing about nonsense . After an hour or so the piece was again ready to be submitted . Zed was feeling guilty to hurt his only friend like this but he had to , his life is in danger why should he keep her with him then .
It was dinner time when Zed's mother told him that she was going to her friends place . " Mom if you don't mind can you go some other time ?" . " Why ? I mean is there any problem ? " . " Problem ? Absolutely not . "
" Son i need to go my friend is not feeling well i have to go but i'll be back by 9 . Okay honey ? " . " Then can i come with you ? " . Miss jones face looked confused but at the same time worried . " Zed ! Tell me what happened ? " " nothing mom just wanted to hangout with you thats all ." " okay then we will go to Selena's cafe for icecream and coffee " saying this she closed the door and went away . Zed went to his room watched netflix and went to sleep .
It was 3 in the morning when zed woke up by a doorbell . " Must be mom " . Zed checked his phone there was a message from mom that she will come till 8 in the morning because her friend was terrified being alone .oh no !! What do i do ? If mom's not coming then who is ringing the bell . Zed ignored the bell for the next few mins untill he got ready for school he took a peanut butter sandwhich for lunch . Then he started to watch netflix because it was still 1 and half hour for school to start . The door bell rang again . Zed checked from the window . It was still a bit dark . No one was here . The bell rang again . Zed took a hockey stick . It was his dad's he really doesnt mind if it breaks . Zed agitatedly opened the door and flied the hockey stick in air . " Zed its me stop " . Zed was shocked to see michael standing here . " Michael ?? " . " yeah ! I was here to apologize man " .
In the lounge room both of them sitting trying to break the ice . " So what were you doing with that hockey stick so early ? " . " Nothing just being protective you know . But how come you are here sitting on my sofa and not hitting me ? " said zed . " This what i'm here for i am here to say sorry for my rude words and actions and my bad behaviour " . " is this another of your plans ? " . " No dude its not . I am serious . Dragon is changed alot he is not my friend anymore . He talked to me rudely . He is also bribed . " Said Michael . " Bribed ? " ." Yes bribed . A boy gave him some money and now Dragon's gonna select him . Your not gonna win " . " really ?? Is there anything i can do for this problem ? . " " Not you but i can " . " Really will you help me ? " asked zed . " sure ! Friends " Michael raised his hand towards zed . They both shaked hands and went to school together .
At school :
" Are you sure about all this ? " asked Zed . " Trust me i got this ."
In class :
" Everyone page number 11 real quick ! " said the teacher .
