when he woke up she wasn't in the room. he stood and pulled on his shoes before walking out. he found her sitting on the main stairs outside reading again but this time she had his coat wrapped around her shoulders because it was freezing out. he sat behind her and pulled her back sos he was resting against him and he said, "What are you reading?" she smirked and said, "Since when are you interested in my books?" she closed it and put it to the side. he shrugged and said, "Since you said you loved me last night?" she smirked back at him and said, "Oh, and when did i say that?" he smirked and pulled her so she was laying on his chest as he leaned back on the steps and he said, "After I said, and I quote, "i love you my beautiful mate." she raised an eyebrow at him and then said, "But I have no memory of any of this, so did it really happen or did you just imagine it? i guess we will never know." she smiled up at him and he said, "I love you my beautiful and wonderful mate." she laughed and said, "i am beautiful and wonderful aren't i. you are so lucky to have me." he chuckled and she said, "i love you too sparky." she leaned up and kissed him. he smirked into it and his hand ran up into her hair. she smiled and pulled back then said, "we are both so lucky." she laid her head on his chest and he just kissed her head. she smiled and they heard squealing from in front of them. they looked and saw evergreen jumping up and down. freed and bickslow were both smirking and laxus glared at them but they didn't seem scared of him. lucy looked at him then at them and smirked before glaring at them. they stopped immediately and she laid her head back down on his chest.then freed said, "Terrifying." then evergreen said, "but adorable at the same time." laxus smiled down at her and whispered in her ear, "I love you." he felt her smile against this neck and then she mouthed, 'I love you too.'
