Do you hear the children?
They are screaming
They need help
They are in danger.
Do you hear the children?
They are locking classroom doors
They are hiding
Eyes wide open, bodies trembling.
Arming teachers
With minimum training
When will they see this is a problem
When will they protect them.
Do you hear the children?
They are weeping
Over the loss of friends
Over the loss of teachers
Over nothing being done.
Do you hear the children?
They are revolting
They are walking out
They are showing the system that they will not be silenced
They are proving that violence will not win.
Do you hear the children?
Something needs to change
Before there are no voices left.
