I landed inside the main room of North's place, in front of the globe, where everyone was seemingly waiting for me. North, as usual, had his arms crossed and the same was with Bunny. Tooth was peeking around the corner at me. I assume Sandy isn't back from his job yet.

"Hey, guys. What's this about?" I asked. "You've been gone an awful lot lately," North started, "Care to explain?" "Ah," I said, "I knew this was coming." Bunny's ears twitched and he exclaimed, "You better hurry up and explain mate. We're all getting suspicious." "I get it, I get it," I said and chilled on the counter in front of the globe, "You have every right to be suspicious. I get it. But you don't need to be because everything's fine. I've just made friends with the new believer is all." Bunny opened his mouth to say something bigger than "Huh?" but that's what he said and furrowed his eyebrows.

They both watched Tooth as she flew a little closer and said, "If you're this close to a believer, what about Jamie? What makes this believer different?" After she spoke, they both turned back to me, awaiting my response. I sighed. "He's special," I started, "I wanted to get him to believe, despite his age, because he had nothing else to believe in. He didn't believe there was hope. What I saw was very personal for him, so I'll just say he was lost. It was like he had no light left in him." Bunny interrupted, "Despite his age? How old is this bugger?" "Gosh, Bunny, he's not that old. He's only 14," I said.

Silence.

"Anyway," I continued, "I thought making him a believer would help him. And it did, but he tells me I'm all he has left, like I'm his only friend."

Tooth had her mouth covered with both hands. She said, "Poor boy. It sounds like he lost someone very dear to him." I nodded sadly and said, "He did."

There was a moment of silent tension except the constant sound of Tooth's wings.

North threw his arms up and shouted, "Well why didn't you tell us sooner?! You could have introduced us!" He ended with his hands on his hips. "Well he was kinda sill healing at the moment so I was waiting for the right time," I told them.

Bunny, with his arms still crossed, turned around walking away saying, "Whatever." "I'd love to meet him!" Tooth exclaimed. North held his finger up shouting, "Let's shove him in sack and toss him through magic portal!"

I hopped down from the counter and said, "Whoa! Whoa. Guys. Calm down. Let's not scare the living daylights out of him, okay North?" He just chuckled and walked away saying, "Tomorrow we are following you!" I called after him, "What?!" I hear Bunny from somewhere in the distance, "Come on, not the sleigh!" North's voice echoed, "YES the sleigh!"

Jesus. They at least have to let me tell him first.

Hiro's POV:

After Jack left out the window I was finally able to open my eyes.

I... I just... He just... We just... He... He woke me up... with a kiss... Am I hyperventilating? Yes. Omg omg..!

Ok ok. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breath 1...

Breath 2...

Breath 3...

Breath 4...

I'm good.

So um... Jack kissed me. That just happened. He went through my notebook, too. That also happened.

I sit straight up.

Ugh! I feel so retarded! I'm trying not to freak out, how can I process this?!

I breathe hysterically again before calming back down. I touch my lips. That was my first kiss and it was perfect. Like his lips and my lips were perfect fitting puzzle pieces. It felt like heaven. I want him to kiss me again.
