Chapter 29 - last chapter

*Jades POV*

I woke to the sound of a long, high pitched beep, i quickly got up and went to Tori's bed and felt for her pulse, nothing, the doctor came in, but it was too late, she was gone.

I held back tears as I called everyone, including Tori's parents, and told them the news.

Everyone arrived about 10 minutes later, Cat was probably crying the most, apart from me, she had mascara running down her face and her eyes were red, I hugged her as we got called into a small room by a doctor, I was about to go inside when Tori's mum stopped me, "jade, if this is all to much for you I would understand if you wanted to go, we will take care of the funeral" she said almost in tears, I shook my head, "no, no I will help as much as I can, I loved her, I want to help" I spoke, my voice shaking, she nodded her head and let me in.

*One week later - Tori's funereal*

A few of our class mates, Tori's family and the gang all gathered around the coffin being lowered into the ground. After the priest finished the ceremony everyone went to Tori's house except me, I just stood there, thinking, I finally found happiness, Tori was my only happiness, my family hate me, my friends tolerate me at the most, plus it's not like I will ever find anyone like Tori, she was my first real love, I mean yes I dated beck but that was more for reputation, not love. "See you soon Tori, love you" I whispered taking one last look at the grave.

When I got home I had made my decision, there was nothing left for me here, I grabbed my phone and messaged the one other person I cared about.

Hey cat, please remember to always think before saying things, and just know I'm sorry for all the times I've been mean to you, like I'm really sorry this time, also, your an amazing singer, I know your going to get far in life, and I wish I would be there to see it, but I need to be happy, and to do that I have to be with Tori, that's the only way.

I turned off my phone and pulled out a box from my wardrobe, inside was the present Tori got me for our 6 month anniversary, it was a pair of scissors with words engraved on them;

I love you Jade,

I smiled thinking about the day she gave them to me,

"Jadeeee, guess what day it is!" Tori squealed jumping on the bed to wake me up, "uhh Tuesday?" I answered playing dumb, "no silly! It's our 6 month anniversary! I can't believe you forgot" she frowned, I sat up and cuddled her, "babe of course I remembered, I was kidding" I laughed as her face lit up and she jumped of the bed and ran to my desk to get a small box and gave it to me, "open it!" She said, I giggled and opened the box, "oh my god Tori" I said speechless, "I love them" I said running my fingers over the engraved words, "and I love you" she said giggling.

I pulled out the scissors and slowly brought them to my neck, "I have to be with her, I have to" I kept saying to myself as I walked over to my mirror to take one last look at myself before slashing the blade across my neck, I started coughing up blood, but it was worth it right? I'm going to be with Tori. About three minutes pasted until I finally fell unconscious, I felt my body hit the ground as my touch slowly faded, the last to go was my hearing, then it was all darkness, no Tori, no nothing, I was alone, all alone.

Sometimes even death can't fix a broken heart.
