Chapter 20

Lisa POV
"Whew. That was tiring but fun." I smiled dumbly as I collapsed on a chair the moment the four of us stepped into the dressing room. It was our first performance that wasn't in Japan or Korean and it was a brilliant feeling. It felt refreshing to be able to see Blinks from a different country. I also finally had the chance to perform in my hometown.

"Good job everyone." We thanked our stylist, managers and musicians. Once we reached our hotel, I took a quick shower before pulling out my phone to text Y/N.

Incoming phone call from Y/N.

"Y/N!" I cheered.

"Hello m'lady. How did your performance go?"

I told her about the performances and the feeling of trill as well as excitement for performing in my home town. We chatted a little more about other interesting events that happened.

"When will you come back?"

"I don't know actually. Months later I suppose."

"Oh." Y/N replied, unable to mask her disappointment.

"Don't worry. I'll be back before you know it." I reassured her. As the show went on, Y/N and I contacted lesser, of course we made an effort to greet each other good morning Everyday without fail, but we didn't have much time to communicate.

Coachella was coming soon. All four of us were extremely excited and nervous at the same time.

Jisoo POV
"Thank you blinks!" I waved as the platform descended. Coachella is tomorrow. We got back to our hotel, all tired and exhausted, ready to get to bed quickly to make sure we have enough energy for tomorrow.

I stepped out of the toilet after washing my face and Jennie was on my bed. Her bed was right next to mine since we shared a room. The maknaes would share one. Jennie was lying down on her bed, facing the other side. Not wanting to disturb her, I walked briskly towards my bed, swiftly switching the lights off and crawled under the covers. Just as I was about to sleep, I heard shuffling from the other bed and then someone shaking me. "Unnie?"

I turned around, and there Jennie was, eyes widen in slight fear as she clutch her teddy bear tightly to her chest. "Jendeuk? You should be in bed."

"I know." She smiled nervously. "But I can't sleep." 

I looked at the way she was clutching onto her teddy bear tightly, slightly trembling as she looked at me nervously. I sigh, pretend to be annoyed, but my cover was blown when I smiled at her. Her frighten face relaxed.

"You can sleep with me tonight."

"Yay!" She cheered before slipping under the covers. "Cuddle."

I cooed softly before pinching her cheek. "Mandu."

"No," she whined, dragging the word as Long as she could. "I'm not a mandu! Call me mandu and I'll get rid of it." She threatened.

"Mandu." She huffed before turning away from me, her back facing me instead. I moved closer to Jennie and back hugged her, burying my face in her back as well as spooning her.

"Unnie?" Jennie called out after a moment of silence. I hummed in response. "What if I mess up tomorrow?"

I turned Jennie around so that she was facing me. "You wouldn't. Because I know you wouldn't."
