Jennie POV

I was worried for Lisa. She'll overwork herself one day. I sat moodily in the cafeteria, poking my food with my fork. "Hey Jenduek. Why that long face?" Jisoo asked as she sat down in front of me and placed a bag of takeout on the table, Chaeyoung sat beside her.

"I'm worried for Lisa." I frown.

"Don't worry Jennie Unnie. Lisa's knight in shining amour would take care of her. Trust me." Chaeyoung said as she started to stuff her mouth with food.

"Knight in shining amour?" I asked, confused.

"Yes."

"Who?"

"Y/N." I stared at Chaeyoung, still confused.

"Have you seen the way Y/N looks at Lisa, and the way Lisa looks at Y/N? It's kind of obvious they have a thing for each other. Besides, when we were trainees, Lisa was always talking about a hot girl who took photos under YG." She continued. "And, they have nicknames for each other. She calls Y/N her knight."

Jisoo and I looked at each other. "Wow." Jisoo said, still surprised.

I smiled. Now that I think about it, Lisa does always mention about Y/N and she's been spending more time with Y/N. "I think I ship them." I smirked.

"Oh hi guys." We looked up and saw Y/N walking towards us. Speak of the devil.

Y/N POV

"Oh hi guys." I grinned as I walked towards Blackpink. But my grin flattered slightly when I realised Lisa was not with them.

"Hi Y/N." Jisoo smiled and the rest smiled too.

Feeling slightly disappointed, I asked, "Hi. Where's Lisa?"

"In the dance studio." Jennie sighed as she probed her food with her fork.

"Isn't it your break?"

"She wants to practise more." Chaeyoung replied.

"I'll go take a look." I was about to walk off when Jennie called me back.

"Bring this to her too." She passed me a bag of takeaway. I nodded and took the bag of food from her, before heading towards the dance studio. Music could be heard as I neared towards the dance studio. I turned the door knob, locked.

"Lisa?" I knocked on the door a few more times.

The music paused. "Y/N?"

"Could you open the door?"

Click.

Then the music started playing again. Bracing myself, I raised my right foot. "Here I come kicking the door." I mumbled as I kicked the door open. As soon as I did that, I was greeted by a blast of deafening music. Wincing, I walked to the front of the room and sat down, watching Lisa dance to "Don't know what to do."

But I noticed something odd. Lisa was dancing, but it wasn't the same. This time it was more desperate, more frantic. Her face was ghostly and her eyes were dull. Frowning, I stood up and grabbed the speaker turning it off, but Lisa kept dancing.

"M'lady?" I asked waving a hand in front of her. She stopped and stood still. Eyes still emotionless, she looked up at me and took a deep shaky breath.

"Yeah?" Her voice cracked. I was lost for words. I reached out to hug her but she walked away, before sitting down on the ground, leaning against the mirror in the dance studio. I sighed and sat next to her.

"Hey. What's wrong?"

She shook her head.

"I know there's something wrong." She looked at me, her eyes brimming with tears. I sat there, speechless, before wrapping my arms around her. This time she didn't reject it, she buried her face in the crook of my neck, shaking.

"Just let it out." I hummed as I stroked her hair softly. Her breath hitch and she started to sob. I bit my lip, trying not to cry. I have to be strong for Lisa.

"You don't have to tell me now, just know that I'll be here when you need help."

After calming Lisa down, the two of us sat in the dance studio together in silence. She ate her food quietly, but she didn't eat much, just a few bites of the chicken, that I'm assuming Jisoo had bought. She sat at the corner of the room, I did ask her if she wanted to cuddle, but she shook her head. Which was fine, I figured she might need sometime alone to pull herself together.

The others came back and rested for a while before the four of them started to practise dancing again. I stayed in the dance studio throughout their whole practise, watching Lisa and smiling encouragingly at her whenever she glanced my way. I only stepped out of the studio for a brief moment to grab 4 bottles of water from the cafeteria down the hall.

"Good job guys! Y'all are awesome as always." I gave them a thumbs up before passing them a bottle of water each. They sat down on the ground, panting and sweating profusely. I sat down next to Lisa, who was about to come closer towards me but changed her mind. I looked at her in confusion, but Lisa looked down, as though the ground was the most interesting thing in the world.

She looked up, her eyes unfocused and lips pursed. Jisoo looked at Lisa, eye brow raised in confusion. I can't blame her though, the noisy and chaotic maknae was surprisingly quiet today. "Let's go back, we've practised hard today." Jisoo said as she got up.

"Alright. Rest well guys." I opened the door for them as I bid them farewell. Lisa was the last to walk out, she looked at me and opened her mouth, but closed it, she nodded to thank me instead.

"No problem m'lady." I gave her a small smile before closing the door behind me and locking it.
