"You looked me in the eyes and you promised you wouldn't hurt Gloria."

Chivo walked into his house, seeing Adriana at the kitchen dinning table as she went through papers. He pulled out an envelope full of cash and set it out in front of her. It was his cut from Tijuana.
"That should cover the kids for the next two months."
Adriana looked from the envelope to him, before completely looking away with a pissed off look.
"Where are they now?" He questioned, he knew how important they were to her.
"My aunts, Nina's watching them." She seethed.
"So I don't get a say in any of this?" Now Chivo was mad, first cause she had already texted him, telling him she was leaving for awhile. Now the nasty attitude she was throwing at him.
"I didn't get a say in this decision, did I?" She pointed down at the money and all the shit that came with it. He had told her he'd find a way out of the cartel once they had found out she was pregnant. He made the decision to still stay.
"Right." He was stern on what his choice was. She got up from the table and walked to their bedroom. He followed after her to see she had already started packing up a few things.
"There was a ATF agent here this morning," she rolled her eyes, "a real nasty bitch. Questioned me about you, the cartel. Said Las Estrellas was gonna tear apart my family."
"I'm sorry." He apologized even though he already knew about Stahl paying everyone a visit. But he was also sorry that she put a thought like that in Adriana's head.
"I'm gonna move in with my aunt for awhile. Probably find a place near her for me and-" she was cut off by him grabbing the clothing from her hand.
"Adriana, just..." he stopped his sentence, putting the few shirts to the side, "why did you stay?"
"What do you mean?"
"When I was in prison? Or why didn't you get out six years ago?"
She didn't say anything.
"You knew that I was going to go back to Las Estrellas. What the hell else was I gonna do? I'm not your uncle. I'm not your dad. Can't be a good old boy chucking wood from 6 to 6. I earn with cartel. That's what I know. That's how I support this family-I'm doing this because of you." He took a breath, "because I love you. And if you can't get behind that, keep packing."
He walked out the room, the front door slamming a few seconds later. She just stood there as the tears started building up.

"They got Ima on drug charges. Cherry on theft and arson. Feds are cleared to investigate." José called a meet up with everyone at warehouse. They were all sitting at one of the tables, a few having to stand.
"That don't make sense." Carlos shook his head.
"Stahl's trying to use RICO." Padilla joined in, "if she can prove her case. She can take you all down."
"And if we go down?" Ortiz was hitting about the payroll.
"Why do you think I'm sitting at this goddamn table?"
"We got anything to worry about with the makeup artist? She's seen a lot of shit over the last few weeks." José looked at Lino, causing everyone else to turn their attention on him too.
