Gloria's POV

It seemed like it was taking forever to get back to Gemma's, as if the road could just keep going on and on. We've been the only car driving for awhile now. Valerie has been resting with her seat back, on the passenger side since we left the clinic.

Coming to a stop sign, waiting on one car to go by, I was about to drive off when suddenly a car bumped us from behind. The thud causing Valerie to wake up.

"Damnit." She sat up, holding a hand to her stomach.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah." She turned to look out the back window.

She was about to open her door and I grabbed her other hand, stopping her.

"Wait." I looked in the rear view, seeing a lady come out the car, already checking her car. I was trying to push back my paranoia about what happened to Gemma.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention." The lady came up to my side of the window as I was rolling it down.

Valerie opened her door and got out. Shit.

I got out too.

"Doesn't look like there is any damage." I looked at both cars. Thank god, this ain't even mine or Valerie's car. Gemma said I could use it, except this time she didn't even know I left.

"Hey, I know you," i looked up to see her staring right at me, " you're with Lino, right?"

I noticed the door to her car opened but nobody stepped out. I couldn't see either way because of the tinted windows and the headlights were still on.

"Uh, I.." I looked between her and her car, " yeah- who are you?"

"I'm his girl." She held up a gun towards me. Both Valerie and I held up our hands as a guy stepped out.

"What the hell is this?" Valerie asked, beginning to freak out.

"Who's this? She one of the girlfriends too?" The man asked the woman, who was still holding up the gun.

He didn't give her time to answer before her told the lady to check if there was any tattoos on Valerie. Of course she found the one on Valerie's shoulder.

"Come on, Esparza. We're going for a ride." The man pushed me towards their car, while the lady was roughly pulling Valerie in the same direction, in front of us.

"Come on, let's go!" He raised his voice. Trying to hurry everyone up.

"Okay." I pushed his hand off, my voice sounding irritated as he tried to push me into the car. We drove off, leaving our car on the side of the road.

Hour 1-

5 minutes into the drive, the lady, who's name I learned was Elena, had blindfolded me and Valerie. Tied our hands up and even put tape over our mouths.

This reminded me of when Brian had me believe he was really going to help me that day back in Tijuana. From that day til now, I've really been through a lot of shit, in fact that day seems like years ago compared to now. I thought about the person I was, going way back before everything started. When I was in Los Angeles. Then to the person I had to become in Tijuana. And now-
