"Are you just going to stand there?" Ezethiel's stern voice made me snap back to reality.
"Sorry," I put a hand on my forehead and shook my head slowly. "Did you say something?"
Ezethiel shook his head angrily and headed for the restroom in the small hallway. I stood there; thoughts about Ezethiel and I running through my head at a thouands mile per hour. I wanted to love him...I just don't know if it's the right thing to do. I stood there for several more minutes before sighing and heading to the bathroom. I walked up and knocked on the wooden door. No response. I turned the door knob. "Ezethiel?" I said aloud as I entered slowly. The lights were off. I walked into the restroom and flicked on the lights. Ezethiel was gone. I took a guess that he might still be in the room...just in another form. I sighed. "I'm sorry I've been so difficult. Please, I...I think I want to do this." I glanced around, but he was no where to be seen. I didn't see a spider or anything. He just disappeared. He has to be here. I told myself over and over as I looked around the bathroom. However, it was no use...he was gone. I turned to look at myself in the sink mirror. I felt emptiness. I felt pain. I felt sad. I felt-No. I won't allow this. I pushed on the wall and headed straight for my bedroom. I sat on the bed next to my bedside table. I searched around for my dagger; gripping onto its firm handle I didn't hesitate as I slit my wrist six times. I felt the pain shoot up my air. It's been awhile since I last cut. I watched the blood ooze from the cuts. I felt the pain stinging like bees. I've never felt that before. I grabbed a washcloth and dabbed it onto the cuts; attempting to stop the blood. Several minutes of blank staring at the wall trying to think of anything and everything other than Ezethiel. I blinked and looked around my room. My wrist hurt like a bitch. The sting has not gone away like it usually does. I let myself fall backwards onto my bed. I closed my eyes. I drifted off into a deep sleep...

"Shadow..."
I opened my eyes to see the beautiful blue skies above me fluttered with clouds. I was laying on soft green grass in the middle of ahy field. I rolled my head over to look right into the beautiful blue eyes of Ezethiel. His eyes matched the sky and we laid there staring at each other several moments. His eyes matched the sky completely. The nice cool breeze blew his shaggy black hair down into his face. I smiled and reacehd over to rub my hand down his cheek. He smiled back with that sexy half smile he does. I felt butterflies. I have to be dreaming. I thought to myself.
I wish this was real...

"Shadow..."
I heard a deep whisper float into my ears. I knew I had awaken, I knew I was no longer dreaming, and I knew I was still laying on my bed. I rolled my head over without opening my eyes. I felt warm breath down the side of my neck. I felt the presence of someone looking down at me. "Ezethiel..." I said under my breath. I felt relaxed...until...
"Think again, princess." A deep voice responded. I flashed my eyes open to see I was alone. I sat up quickly; grabbing my arms instantly in pain as I tore the cuts open again. "Dammit!" I shouted under my breath. I grabbed the rag and held it tightly on the wounds. This never happens to me. I never feel the pain. I stood up and walked slowly around my cabin to make sure I was alone. I swear I heard someone...I told myself over and over. I knew I wasn't alone. I could feel it. Someone was here. I froze in the middle of my living room just before sitting down on my couch. Everything seemed to be in slow motion as I heard large metal claws scraping across my wooden floors. I turned my head slowly to see that, standing in the middle of my hallway approaching me, was a large black and red wolf. It dragged it's paws; scraping it's three inch claws across my flooring. I stayed still as it walked out from the shadows of my hallway. I saw it's full body and I felt the need to gulp in fear. I felt fear when I saw the size of this wolf. The wolf stood at least three feet tall from the ground. It's paws were the size of saucer plate. It's eyes were large and glowing red. It's mouth dripped blood as it pulled it lt's lips back to snarl at me. I stood completely still, but slowly reached for my dagger. I quickly remembered it was in my room on my floor; I had cut myself and forgot to put it back on my back. I stood completely vulnerable in wolf'z gaze. It glared at me. It picked up it's left paw and dragged it across my floor; making an annoying sound. I just stared at the wolf. One thought was running through my mind in this moment: Shifter. I told myself. A friend of Ezethiel's maybe? I turned my body to face the wolf; making sure not to move my gaze from the wolf. I was now facing the creature head on. I looked at it intently. It stood still. I stood still. I swallowed and had enough guts to speak.
"A-Are you a friend of Ezethiel's?" I asked calmly. The wolf shook it's head; splattering blood all over my walls and furniture. It then froze again and continued to glare at me with hatred in it's eyes. "Who are you?" I said, a little more stern than before. The wolf growled. "Are you a shifter?" I asked the wolf. The creature growled again. "I know what you are." I said firmly; my patience wearing thin. The wolf took two steps toward me. Now standing only about four feet from me, the wolf licked some of the dripping blood from it's lips.
"You know nothing of what I am." The wolf said in a deep growl voice.
I took a step back in shock that the wolf could speak. I made sure I didn't move. I calculated the size of the wolf wiht the size of the paws in my brain and guessed that if I pissed this thing off...it could easily take me down. That's only because I had no weapons available anywhere near me. The wolf and I held each other's gaze for awhile in complete silence. I was getting angry and I wanted to move. I got tired of the staring contest and relaxed my muscles. The second I did so the wolf took two more steps towards me. I looked down at the wolf, it stood now about a foot and half from my feet. I wondered if the wolf was going to attack. It was so close that I didn't feel comfortable even moving. You know that feeling when you're sitting on the edge of your bed and you're afraid to put your feet down because of a strange feeling telling you something might grab it? That's what I felt. I felt afraid to move because the wolf was close enough to where if I moved at all it could grab my leg with it's large paws and just maul at my leg. However, the wolf lifted it's head to look up into my eyes.
"My name is Reid." The wolf said as it shifted into a six foot ten iches tall man.
The man had red facepaint smeared all over his face. His clothes torn. He looked like a zombie from that dumb television show "The Walking Dead." I looked him up and down. His bleached bangs covered his face. The man had his face down towards the floor so I couldn't hardly see any of it. I suddenly felt safe. Like, almost like I could move. So I did, and as soon as I did the man grabbed both of my arms and held me still. He looked up into my eyes and I saw his face. His face was torn to bits. I mean, torn apart. He was missing an eye, and blood oozed from his eye socket. I gasped at the sight. I pulled trying to get away. He just stared into my eyes with his one black eye.
"Where is he..." He repeated over and over. "Tell me!" He shouted.

I opened my eyes to see a beautiful blonde staring down into my eyes. Her long blonde hair hung down to her waist. She had stunning blue eyes and she held a washcloth. I glanced down at my hands to see they were covered in blood. I then realized I was in a hospital in town. I was covered in fresh blood. My own blood. I felt pain all over and my arms were scratched up. I was torn apart. Blood everywhere. The nurse spoke...but she spoke with the same deep whisper that I had heard earlier. The nurse was repeating something over and over under her breath. I couldn't move. I couldn't feel anything other then pain. I felt helpless, hopeless, and alone. I felt empty. I closed my eyes as I felt a tear stream down my face.

I flashed my eyes open. The light from my kitchen made me squint my eyes. I was laying on my kitchen floor looking up at the ceiling. I sat up and glanced around. My head hurt awfully bad. It felt like I got hit by a train. I turned to look out into my living room and I saw a handsome man with bleached hair sitting comfortably on my couch. I tried to stand up, but my legs were far to weak. I looked back at the man. I know this man. It was the man that I had seen earlier. I think it was earlier. My head is so messed up. Someone's messing with my head! I panicked. The man turned his face to notice me. It was definitely the same man, but he had both eyes this time...and he wasn't so bloodied up. He actually look...attractive.
"Who are you?" I managed to speak softly. The man smiled.
"I'm Reid." He said as he gestured to the couch. "Come, join me. We need to talk about your shifter boyfriend."
