Dash

When we die,

our graves will have the years in which we were born,

and in which we died.

In between those years, there will be a dash;

a small line,

standing for 70, 80, 90 years;

a small line,

representing all of the

laughter

pain

joy

pleasure

that was our lives.

Is that the only thing we'll have, when all is said and done?

Is that all we'll have to show?

A small line,

standing for all of the differences we made?
