Trapped Together

Jess's POV
I woke up, really sore. I could hardly feel anything in my legs and arms. The only thing I remember was... I.. don't know. Wait no, I was talking. But, with who? I heard a slight groan nearby. I gained a bit of control in my arms and legs as I stood up. The room was darkened. I shifted my feet on the floor, which seemed to have startled the person. I recognized the person. He was one of my best friends. Or, my crush. He seemed to have recognized me too. "Jess? Wh-What happened?"
I didn't know an answer. But, I knew what happened before I had gotten into this cold, "ancient", cell. It seemed broken, the bars full of rust. Tangles of white silk created by small spiders. Dust filled the air, with tiny particles of some sort filling our eyes.

~Flashback~
I notice Lukas walking alone in the forest, the sunlight seeping through the spaces in between the leaves on the trees. I touch the rough bark on a tree. My finger slid down a gap in between a part in the tree. It was carved into. J + L in a heart with an arrow. If only, I thought.
"Hey," a familiar voice spoke. I turned my head to see Lukas putting his arm on the trunk. I blocked the carving with my back. Lukas chuckled. He could probably see me blushing. "H-Hi Lukas."
He looked to the tree. "You saw it too, huh?" He smiles. "I'd assume Petra did that," I grin. "Well then, it that case," Lukas looked at me with this ocean blue eyes. "Jess, I-" he stopped. His arm fell down and he dropped to the floor. I felt something sharp poke into my leg. My vision became blurry, and my arms and legs went limp. I fell unconscious as everything turned to black.

~End of Flashback~

That's when I realized the person in the cell with me was Lukas.

Lukas's POV
Jess and I had only been talking for what seemed like 10 minutes ago. Now we were stuck in a decaying cell. The place looked so rotten it looked like we were break out without a problem. I already knew who's "tremendous" plan this was.
There was a slight problem to planning our escape. Gill and Maya has stood on the other side of the bars on guard. So, what would we do then? And why do they even own something like this? Seems like this place could've fallen at any second, with all of us in it.
Jess stood in front of me, but it looked more of her silhouette, a shadow. I couldn't see her face. Her beautiful, worried face. She always looked cute like that.
I couldn't see her shining green eyes in the sun for who knows how long. I stood up and reached for her hands. Completely forgetting Maya and Gill, they slammed a metal rod into the bars. Jess and I jumped slightly.
"What was that for?" I asked harshly. "Shut up!" Maya hissed. I stepped back shocked. I took slow steps to the bars. I place my hands on the dry, rough, metal bars. "What do you want from us?" I grit my teeth. "Whatever the boss wants from you." Gill chimes in.
Of course Aiden wants something from us. But why only us? Or is it just something he wants from Jess? Using me as an advantage to get what he wants?
My mind kept skipping thoughts back onto Jess. I loved her. She was everything to me. If Aiden took me away from her, he would most definitely get it.
Few moments pass by and Aiden comes through a doorway. He had a stupid smirk on his face. "Hello again Jess. And of course Lukas is here. The lover boy."
Jess raised an eyebrow at him.

Jess's POV
Lover boy? Did that mean that, Lukas... I looked to Lukas, where I could see the slightly tint of red dusted on his cheeks through the darkness. "I know the reason why we're here isn't just to tease me." Lukas hides his blush. Aiden chuckles. "I know it wasn't."
  Lukas narrows his eyes. "So then what do you want?"
  "Something you don't want." Aiden smiles mischievously. I soon head up to the bars next to Lukas. "It's always something we don't want," I protest. Aiden walks up to me. "That's the point."
  I didn't know what he was planning, and I knew I wouldn't like it. But, I guess I wasn't getting it. Aiden kept talking, "But it's not something both of you don't want." My eyes widen. "It's something lover boy over here doesn't want." Aiden continued. Lukas growled at him. "Stop calling me that," he threatened.
  "Oh, poor Lukas. Doesn't appreciate the embarrassing nicknames. You're the one trapped, not me. I can call you whatever I want. But, not the point." Aiden said in response.
  Lukas scoffs, "You don't know what I don't want." Aiden leans his head, gesturing to me. "Losing her."
  I see Lukas stiffen. Am I really that important to him? I just had to hope that my life wasn't on the line, forcing Lukas to do something I didn't want.
  "You don't touch her you filthy jerk." Lukas squeezes the bars. Aiden pushes Lukas down through the iron gates. "You don't touch him either!" I shout.
  Aiden was about to talk until he was interrupted by Petra sliding through the doorway. She was followed by Axel and Olivia as well. Petra came over to Aiden and kicked him out of the way while Olivia and Axel pinned Maya and Gill back. They both tried to struggle out from under their feet, but they managed to hold them down. Aiden drew out his sword and it clashed up against Petra's. I tried to kick open the cell door. The ceiling seemed to have cracked as it took the first hit. I didn't want to kick it again in case the ceiling was going to break off a piece and fall on us.
  I helplessly watched as Petra and Aiden fought in front of Lukas and I. Petra knocks the sword out of Aiden's hands, and raises her blade. She touches the tip to his neck. Aiden shoots his hands up, surrendering. Axel calls Petra. "Petra, the keys!" Axel calls, tossing a pair of keys to her. They jangle in the air, and it stops as Petra closes her hand around them.
  Olivia and Axel carry Gill and Maya next to Aiden as Petra shoves in the key to the lock. The lock clicked open, and the two of us were free. I thanked Petra on my way out, as did Lukas. I face Aiden. "No matter what you do Aiden, you will never win." I warned. He gives me a glare.

~Time Skip~

Lukas's POV
  I was gonna do it, today. Hopefully there wasn't going to be someone who would get in my way preventing me from saying it to her. By now, she probably already knows, after Aiden had kept calling me one single name constantly, but I should at least give an explanation...right? I don't know, maybe it was a bad idea, but it was already too late because I spotted her talking with Petra. Jess looked slightly nervous actually, and I could see her blushing slightly from afar. I started getting anxious, but called out for Jess anyways. "Hey Jess!" I could hear my voice crack from my own fear. I notice Petra and Jess giggling. I immediately started blushing.
  "Hold on Lukas!" Jess calls back. She then comes running up to me. "Hey," I started. "A-About what I was talking about before, you know, that thing happened."
  Jess nods and smiles. "I-I just wanted to say..." I stutter. Okay just say it! "I..." I shake my head, trying to shake the fear off. I push my thoughts out of the way. 
   I look up at Jess. Her beautiful green eyes and raven-black hair. She continues smiling, and I start to smile as well. I cupped her cheek, and pulled her closer. I pulled her to me until our lips touched. She didn't even fight against it. Instead, she wrapped her arms over my neck. I wrap mine around her waist, and pull her closer.

A/N: 1396 words. Wow, I did not think this was going to be that long. I'm sorry if these are... not good or something. Not the best writer. And I don't have good usage of words either, if that makes sense.
