Lukas always had his eyes set for a special someone. A girl he called beautiful, stunning, indescribable of how pretty she was to him. He never necessarily thought she felt the same about him though, but his heart refused to let his love to her go.
Petra noticed how Lukas acted while standing with his crush, and often teased him about it. He never let it get to him.
One fateful day was it that the girl he loved asked him something: "Would you like to talk a walk along the beach with me tonight? Watch the sunset?" This question made Lukas's heart leap. He wanted nothing more at this point than to walk with her. He nodded quickly. "Great! See you then!" She said, waving goodbye to him as she left. Lukas waved back, and left as well, thinking about watching the sunset with the girl of his dreams.

~Time Skip~

It was the time where the sun had barely just began falling to the other side of the Earth. Petra was excited to see that Lukas was finally doing something romantic with the girl, which caused Lukas to blush. "Petra, stop making me nervous."
"What do you mean?! You are finally going on a date with Jess!" The red-head squealed. Lukas blushed harder after hearing the word "date" and "Jess" in the same sentence. "I-it's not a date! I-it's just a- I d-don't think i-it's a- I-I mean it's just like a get together! B-bonding, you know?" Lukas shyly explained. Petra scoffs, "Whatever." She then mumbles, "Same thing," chuckling to herself. Lukas seemed to notice, "W-What?"
Petra stops and looks at Lukas with a smirk, "Nothing! Now go out there and find Jess. Don't forget to kiss her!" Petra, without hesitation, pushes Lukas outside. "Wait, what?!" He manages to yell out before Petra closed the door shut from her home. Don't forget to kiss her! Lukas kept thinking. He was nervous before, but now after hearing that he wasn't sure if he had enough courage to see her. It was already to late for he was already walking to find Jess.
Finding her on the beach, sitting in the cry sand, he walks over to her. The five words kept ringing in his head. "Hey Lukas!" Jess called, her black hair waving through the wind behind her. His blue eyes met her green ones. Lukas made his way to sit next to her, gazing at the fading blue to yellow colors in the sky.
Jess sighed happily. "Isn't it beautiful?" She examines. Lukas smiles, "Not as beautiful as you..."
Jess turns over to him, and Lukas immediately blushes. "I said that out loud didn't I?" He says. Jess starts blushing too, never knowing he felt that way about her. "Well... I guess you know the truth now... um.." Lukas turns away from Jess, hoping to hide his blush. "Lukas..." he turned back to the sound of his name. "There was... something I've been meaning to tell you..."
Lukas has full attention on her. "I... I've... loved you... Lukas. I still do. I just wished I could've told you sooner because this feeling has been aching for so long. I was just always so... nervous to tell you because I was sure you didn't feel the same," Jess twirls a lick of her hair. "Jesse I..." Lukas couldn't find the words to describe how he felt at this moment. Instead he used his actions to tell her. He took her hands, and stood up, dragging Jess to stand with him. Lukas leaned in, hoping Jess would do the same. To his surprise she did. The two closed their eyes, and their lips finally met. They happily kissed on the beach in the setting sun.
Close by, Petra had thought it was the perfect time to take a picture, with the colors in the background. She quickly snapped a photo before heading off to show everyone.
It seemed like forever they were kissing, but they eventually pulled away. "Jess... I love you," Lukas says sheepishly. Jess was already blushing before the kiss. "I love you more," she joked. "Oh we'll see about that!" Lukas joked back. Just then Lukas sweeper Jess off her feet, and held her bridal style. The two laughed playfully, and Lukas couldn't help but kiss her again.
