Jess boarded the crowded train, but surprisingly found an empty seat near the back. She took her seat, and ignored the noise around her. The babies crying, the men talking and laughing. She only listened to her own thoughts, that carried her into the clouds, where she could block out the noises.
She was kicked out of them as she heard a young man speak. "Hey, do you mind if I sit here? Everywhere else is, taken." To Jess he looked like a casual man, but she looked into him more. He wore a black leather jacket, a pink-purple (or red I don't know) and had blond hair, with blue eyes. Jess nodded politely.
The man sat down, but slightly close to her. She felt a bit uncomfortable, but didn't move away. Jess felt strangely awkward sitting next to him, without talking, since she wasn't alone to be in her own thoughts now. She tried making some small talk.
"Hi. What's your name?" She began. Jess seemed to catch him off guard. Seemed that he was also in his own thoughts. "Oh, uh, Lukas." He responded. "Well, mine is Jesse, or Jess. My," Jess clears her throat. "Friends call me that." The air felt musty and dry to Jess.
Lukas smiles. "That's a pretty name.. Oh shoot!" He starts to blush. "I meant nice! I'm sorry that came out wrong."
Jess giggles a small bit, and blushed too. The train took a few stops, and neither of them went off on any of them.
"So," Jess started again, "where are you headed off to?" Hoping that would bring up a longer conversation. "I'm just heading to the city, hoping to find something to catch my interest." Lukas says. Jess stops for a second, but then says, "Well, that's where I'm going too." Lukas turns his head to her. "Really?" he asks, having a slight tint of red dusted on his cheeks. Jess then takes a long breath in, then out. "But it doesn't seem that I need to."
Lukas tilts his head at her. "Why not? I mean, it'd still be fun to... Well I mean you don't have to but-"
Jess then presses her lips on his, causing Lukas to be cut off. He blushes intensely. Jess shortly releases. "Because I already found something that caught my attention."~Time Skip~
The train stops and the two get off, being filled with glee. "I'll have to head home, but maybe see you around?" Lukas questions shyly. Jess nods happily. "Of course." She gives him a goodbye kiss, and he follows along with it. The two pull apart, and Lukas heads in another direction.
"Wow, she is... incredibly stunning." Lukas mumbles to himself. He couldn't help but smile to his own statement.
