Holy crap! Almost 400 reads! That is insane considering how I think my writing kind of sucks. XD Thank you guys so much for reading these, requesting, voting (still don't understand what that's for).

A group of three walked around together in the high school, talking all about homecoming. "Has anyone asked you yet Petra?" Olivia, a girl with brown pigtails, tanned skin with a red vest and black leggings asks. "Well I mean, of course," Petra exaggerates, flipping her red-orange hair, posing in her blue shirt, black vest with black shorts. Jess, the last girl, with long ebony black hair, a clip to hold her long bangs, wearing a red and white shirt with blue jeans (I didn't want to do the overalls because I'm different >:) ), who hadn't been asked yet stood walking awkwardly along with the two others who had both already been asked. Jess wasn't sure if she was going to, or wanted to be asked. Sure, she would be going to homecoming anyways without a date, but she didn't want to feel isolated with her friends who'd be hanging out with two other boys they had set eyes on for a bit.

"Hey Jess, you remember that blond kid?" Olivia nudges Jess, throwing her out of her thoughts. "Yeah, what about him?" Jess asks. Jess had thought she had had feelings for this kid, but she didn't want to settle on it. She'd always see him walking around with his striped magenta shirt, black leather jacket and the same jeans Jess wore, but longer. His blond hair was slicked back, and he was taller than her she observed. "Don't you want him to ask you?" Petra smirks. Jess scoffed, rolling her eyes, "I don't really mind anymore who asks me."

"Come on girl! We know the way you look at Lukas," Olivia yips. Jess tilts her head, narrowing her eyebrows, "What way? I don't have any way." "Well I know the way he looks at you," Petra says, pointing over to the blond passing across the halls. Jess looked over, watching him look directly at her, stopping for a bit, then covering the side of his face with his hand, holding onto his backpack while speed-walking out of their vision.

"Maybe he just doesn't want to be seen looking at some weirdo like me," Jess shrugs. "You're just upset that you haven't been asked huh?" Petra taunts playfully. Olivia bumps her arm. "I bet he doesn't think you're a weirdo. Maybe talk to him. We talked to our dates before, and they have apparently grown onto us. Maybe you should try the same," Olivia suggests. "There's no point in trying is he continuously avoids me," Jess deadpans. "Then we'll bring you to him," Petra shrugs. Jess's eyes widen at her sentence. "N-No! You can't force him to ask me by bringing me towards him!"

"Then we'll bring him to you," Petra says walking away from the two. Olivia joins along with Petra. "No you can't force him to ask me by bringing him towards me either!" Jess silently yells. Jess steps in front of them, stepping backwards since they didn't stop pressing forwards. Trying to convince them to stop, Jess heard a familiar voice nearby, "Come on, just ask her! She's right there and this might be your only chance to ask! She's with two other girls so I might be disturbing her... But this is my only shot."

The voice turned around the corner and he jumped back, Jess turning to face him. "S-Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt you or anything," the boy stutters. "You didn't interrupt anything Lukas," Petra shoves Jess in front of Lukas barely. Jess watches as Lukas's cheeks turn a bright shade of red in front of her. It was then that he couldn't find any other words that complimented Jess, "H-Hi Jess you're looking really cu- I mean beauti- I mean you look nice! You look great because you always do! Not in a strange, weird way of course! You just look so pretty- It's not like that! Oh my God I'm so sorry."

Jess shakes her head, "It's alright. I mean it's not like a boy would ever say that to me anyways, so thank you." Jess shyly holds both of her hands together over the front of her body. "R-Really? But why? You're so beautiful..." Lukas sighs dreamily. Jess blushes a little, leaning her head down. "Sorry, but I heard you talking around the corner as these dumbos decided to drag you towards me. Who's the lucky girl?" Jess asks looking back at the blond. "W-What do you mean? T-There's no... I-I mean there is it's just..." Lukas hesitates. "Well you were planning to ask someone something. I'm sure they'd be lucky to have someone like you to go to homecoming with," Jess giggles. "Y-Yeah I guess. But I-I doubt they would say yes," Lukas scratches the back of his head. "Come on. With someone like you, they couldn't say no," Jess lightly punches his shoulder. Lukas smiled embarrassed, still blushing. "W-What if they had a date already?" he asks. "There are actually a decent amount of girls who haven't been asked, so just try," Jess encourages. Lukas swallows, "A-Are y-you one of t-those g-girls?"
