37 - Whoever finds a friend, finds a treasure

Jin was on the edge of the door and looked at them with a serious look and folded arms. Before the girls returned from their meeting, he had tried in every way to get Jimin to talk about what was going on, but the boy had continued to claim that he didn't know anything. But the older one hadn't believed him and now that he was in front of that scene, he could have talked about it with the person concerned.
-Hyung it's nothing. Sorry if we have woken you up- Jungkook apologized and broke away from that somewhat compromising position.
However, Jin was not interested in him.
-Go to sleep- he said in a rather cold and severe tone.
Jungkook, who was not at all accustomed to that side of the elder, tried to argue, but when he saw the stern look he was giving him he stopped and, after apologizing again, he went to his room, without consider the girl who stood behind him.
Momo also tried to leave, but Jin stopped her.
-Not you. We need to talk and so we will go to sleep when you tell me the whole truth about what is happening- he said in a tone that didn't allow replies.
At that point the girl was forced to talk and, resigned, told him everything, starting from the love triangle between her Taehyung and Jungkook and ending with the chat made with Jimin.
Jin listened very carefully to Momo's story. When she finished speaking, he remained silent and kept looking at her with the same serious look he had given her the whole time she had spoken.
There was a few minutes of silence before Momo resumed speaking.
-Please say something...Anything...Tell me I'm a bad person, a no good, a ruin friendships, but don't keep looking at me this way...- Momo said, starting crying.
Unexpectedly Jin said nothing, but he got up from his seat, walked around the table, came to Momo and hugged her.
Momo, at that point, began to cry even louder in the arms of the boy, who squeezed her harder as he stroked her hair gently with one hand.
-Oppa, I didn't want all this. I didn't want to create tensions within your group. I didn't want to fall in love with Jungkook. I don't want the friendship between Taehyung and Jungkook terminated because of me. I care a lot about you all.- Momo said in one breath, sobbing.
-But the girl didn't realize that, unintentionally, she had admitted that she had fallen in love with Jungkook. Jin, on the other hand, had noticed it and smiled.
-Momo, did you realize what you said?- Jin asked her, giggling.
Momo looked at him confused, not understanding what he wanted to say.
-You just admitted that you fell in love with my group's maknae- he explained, smirking.
Momo broke away from the hug to look at Jin with wide eyes, as if only then did she realize her confession.
She got up from her seat and started going back and forth around the kitchen with her hands in her hair.
Jin looked at her with a sweet smile: Momo was really tender with that crazy look.
After about ten minutes that Momo went on like this, murmuring incomprehensible things and giving a cob-talk to herself, Jin decided it was time to interrupt her, also because she was starting to frighten him.
-Ehm...Momo?-
The girl stopped and turned to him, with a desperate face.
-Oppa, I'm in love with Jungkook-
-I know it-
-With Taehyung it was only physical attraction-
-I know it-
-Taehyung, however, has feelings for me-
-I know it-
-What a shit situation-
-I know it-
-Do you know that you do not help me, continuing to say "I know it"?- Momo said on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
-Sorry, but It's fun to see you like that- he said giggling.
If the looks could have electrocuted people, Jin would be toasted now, given the glare Momo had given him
-Maybe I'm freaking out- she said, sighing resignedly.
-Take away the "maybe"...-
-Oppaaa...- Momo whined
-Okay, okay, I'll finish it... Can I tell you my point of view?- Jin said
At his words, Momo opened her eyes wide and her right eye began to tremble because of nervousness.
-And in your opinion, what have I been looking for for half an hour?! It is obvious that you have to tell me your point of view, otherwise I could keep talking to myself!-
-Don't treat me like that though- Jin whined, like he was a child, but he had to stop immediately, when he realized that Momo was about to throw him the glass from which she had been drinking.
-Sorry, sorry! So I think you need to talk to both of them. Treating them with indifference is of no use, you make them feel bad and you feel bad too. You can't think that by moving away from them, you can solve everything- he said, going back to being a serious person.
-I know, but it's hard ... Until tonight I didn't know I was in love with Jungkook ... and if I was wrong? If ot wasn't love, but just a passing crush? I would only make the situation worse, don't you think?- Momo Momo expressed all her concerns.
-It is not mandatory that you talk to them tomorrow. Take your time, but don't distance yourself from them ... It is only by being with them that you can understand your feelings- he explained.
Momo thought about his words. He was right: only they could clarify her feelings.
-Yes you are right! I was wrong, but the discussion with Jimin-ssi made me think that this was the right solution- she said.
-Speaking of Jimin, the next time he tells you something like this, you come to me so I give him a pull of ears- he said, snatching a smile from her.
-However, forgive him, he did not want to make you feel bad, indeed he certainly wanted all three of you to be well. It's a little stupid, but it's not bad- he continued, giggling.
Momo finally laughed.
-It's nice to see you laugh- he said smiling
Momo approached him and hugged him.
-Oppa thanks for everything. It would have been really nice to have an older brother like you-
Jin returned the hug
-Well, now you have it-
The two of them looked at each other and smiled. Then the boy, still hugging her, started talking again.
-Anyway "little sister" I'm really happy that you recovered, before you seemed crazy! You were not at all a good show- he said, teasing her.
-Ah ah ah...You're so nice- she sarcastically.
-Maybe it's better if we go to sleep, otherwise who knows what this crazy girl can ever do...- he continued, looking at him in a way that made him shiver.
Frightened, he ran away to his room, shouting goodnight.
At his reaction, Momo laughed.
-What a sissy!
