40 - First kiss

When the program ended and the eight returned to the dressing rooms, everyone finally had the opportunity to congratulate the two boys for the magnificent performance.

-You guys have been exceptional! - Youngjae exclaimed clapping his hands.

-Momo, I didn't know you were able to do these things!- Jinyoung said, surprised.

-Momo, Yugyeom, I'm so proud of you. You have proven to be two great professionals and I am so honored that two of your caliber are part of my team- JYP said really happy.

-Thank you so much- the two dancers said, bowing.

-How about if we went to celebrate?- Jackson proposed.

While everyone nodded, Momo:
-Guys unfortunately I have to refuse the offer, I'm too tired. I no longer have the age to party!-

-Ahhh Noona plaeeeeese!- Yugyeom pleaded with Momo, with a child tone.

-Noona? Since when did you call her noona?- Mark asked confused and a little bit jealous.

-Since now- Yugyeom answered putting an arm on the girl's shoulder.

Momo giggled

-So noona?

-Gyeomie, now I can't do it, but I promise you that maybe we'll celebrate another day, okay?- She said smiling.

-Okay!- He said happy

-Then, since it's late, I'd say go. Mark, will you take Momo home?- JYP asked him

-Sure!- he said, perhaps with too much emphasis, in fact his friends began to giggle and he looked at them badly.

He took Momo by the hand and, after saying goodbye, the two went to the car and, once inside, they left.

-Momo you were exceptional on stage. I never expected such a performance- Mark said complimenting her

-Mark, you're too kind. This would not have been possible without Yugyeom. Thanks to his physical prowess we could have done something more special. It would not have been possible with someone smaller and leaner- she explained

-Is it a nice way to say that with me you could never have done something like that? - he said, pretending to be angry

-I would never dare...- Momo said chuckling.

In the meantime they had arrived home. After stopping the car, Mark got out and, after going around the car, opened Momo's door and helped her down.

-Thank you- she said blushing a little -I think the girls will kill me. I left without telling them anything...-

-Oh! I forgot to say to you...Nayeon called you while you were practicing and I explained to her the situation. So don't worry!- he explained

-Ah thank goodness! Anyway, thank you very much for sending me back home- she said smiling

-You don't have to thank me, it's always a pleasure for me to spend time with you. But now it's better to go. Goodnight- he said, kissing her on the cheek and making her blush.

-Goodnight- she said, looking at him while he went away.

After a few seconds he took the keys and went into the house.

When she entered home, she was greeted with screams and applause that almost made her scared: in fact she crouched down on herself, closed her eyes and covered her ears with her hands.

After a few seconds she opened her eyes and saw that everyone was looking at her. She decided to get up and adjusted her dress.

-But are you crazy ?! What is all this fuss about? I was dying of fear!- she said scolding them.

-Oh sorry unnie! We only wanted to compliment you for your great performance!- Chaeyoung said

-Ah thank you- she said smiling

-Momo since when are you able to do such a thing?- Nayeon asked, surprised

-For some time- she answered giggling

At one point Momo noticed that someone was looking at her intently. She turned her gaze to the right and noticed that Jungkook, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, did not take his eyes off her. She blushed a lot: she had to admit that she liked the way he looked at her. She immediately looked away, but kept feeling the boy's eyes on her.
The others kept talking to her but she could hardly hear them: she was too focused not to think about the beautiful boy who was staring at her. Her heart pounded.

-Momo are you listening to me?- Jin asked

-Oh sorry, I was distracted, what were you saying?- she said, apologizing to him.

-I was asking you if you wanted to eat something-

-Oh thank you, but I'm not hungry. The only thing I want is to put on my pajama and go to sleep- she said yawning.

The others giggled.

Sorry guys but I'm going upstairs to change, if I'm not going down it's because I fell asleep- she said, making them laugh.

As Momo went upstairs, Jungkook decided it was time to act. He waited a few minutes, and without anyone noticing, he slipped over it.

Without knocking he entered the girl's room: from the sound of the water he realized that she was in the bathroom washing.
He decided to sit on her bed waiting for her.
After a few minutes, Momo came out, wearing her pajamas.
When she realized he was there she started.

-Jungkook, what are you doing here?- she said, trying to avoid to look at him in the eyes.

Jungkook noticed the girl's behavior.

-Why don't you look at me in the eyes?- she asked, moving towards her.

-It's not true...- she murmured, still not looking at him.

-Momo look at me- he said, but she didn't.

-Momo, I told you to look at me- he said in a serious tone, continuing to approach her.

-Jungkook what do you want from me?- she asked, finally looking up to look at him.
However when she looked into his eyes she noticed that the boy had come very close to her: they were only a few centimeters from each other.

The two looked at each other intently.

-Momo, I have to talk to you- he said, almost hypnotized.

-Jungkook doesn't seem right now- she said.

-I think it's the right time- he said, not wanting to give up.

-Jungkook I think ...- Momo couldn't finish talking.

Jungkook was tired of being told no, so he had done something he had wanted to do for a long time: he kissed her!
