Beautiful bright lights makes her eyes shine
Tears building up,
making them brighter.Sitting on the curb in front of her apartment,
holding onto herself.
Holding her head to keep her sanity.
Biting her lips so that she wouldn't be a crybaby.Looking beside her,
she finds herself looking at the puddle of water
looking at her reflection.
Only to find a lost soul sinking in the water. She doesn't recognize that person.
She looks away.
Waiting,
breathing.Does anyone care?
Can anyone see her drowning in her thoughts late at night?
Sobbing over the unexplainable. She cried and cried.
Her mind yelling to be heard,
to be understood. At last, she couldn't hold it much longer,
she finds herself laid on the floor,
while crowds of people walk past her,
never looking back at her,
never caring.
