Kevin sighed as he tried turning his phone back on. The damn thing had been dead, so he charged it, but it still wouldn't turn on. Frustrated groans filled the air as he angrily set his phone back on the table.
"You know, you're being very distracting." Changmin glared at the older as he flicked him in the head.
"Hey!"
"You deserve it,"
Changmin shrugged and Kevin rubbed his forehead. He looked at Changmin's computer, seeing the boy playing an online game. He sighed, 'tsk'ing at the cherry-red haired boy next to him.
"That's such a waste of time, you could be doing something more useful with your time than playing games on your laptop." Kevin said, playing the straw of his coffee.
"Excuse you, Tetris is a great game," Changmin defended, "so kindly...fuck off."
"Would you two stop fighting, you're annoying the costumers." Juyeon whisper yelled as he walked to their table.
"Also, just 'cause you're on break doesn't mean I'm not watching you." Juyeon gave them both 'the look' —it being mostly pointed at Kevin— before walking around to clean off the tables.
The small cafe was pretty empty at the time, so Kevin wasn't too worried about being disruptive. He picked up his phone again, staring at the blank screen for a second, only to shove it in his pocket and pick his drink up.
"I'm gonna try to get this fixed before my break ends." Changmin payed no mind to the older, continuing to play his game. Kevin just shook his head as he exited the cafe. A couple blocks down the street was a phone company, (a/n idk) so he could walk there instead of taking the bus.

"Sorry, but there's no way to fix it, there's too much water damage." The man said, shooting an apologetic look towards Kevin. Said boy just frowned slightly and nodded.
'I knew I shouldn't've taken my phone to the pool' he thought, staring at the dead electronic. He folded it over in his hands and sighed once again.
Getting a new one wouldn't be all that bad, he was due for a new phone anyway, considering the block he had was well over three years old.
"Is there anyway to recover the phone numbers from it?" Kevin questioned, looking at the man over the counter hopefully. The man nodded and motioned for Kevin to follow him to a different counter.
"Pick out a new phone if you want, if today's not good we can always pick another day to transfer..." Kevin stopped listening as he looked around at the different options.
Ultimately ending up with the same phone, Kevin exited the store baring a heavy sigh. He was now down a couple hundred dollars that he was saving for a new drawing tablet, but he definitely needed a phone if he wanted any sort of communication.
After making it back to the cafe, he was greeted with an empty seat where Changmin had been at —the dimples boy finally getting back to work. He waved goodbye to Changmin, as he was the only one in sight, and opted to walk home seeing that it was getting kind of late. Who says 7:30 isn't late anyway?
