Epilogue

ONE YEAR LATER...

The air blows your hair behind you and the sweet, salty smell of the ocean beats your face. In front of you, your favorite people in the whole wide world were throwing sand and water at each other.

"Soo Rae! Come join us!" Jimin shouts, running towards you. He grabs you by the waist, throws you over his shoulders and begins to walk towards the ocean and the sand fight. You kick and scream. Jimin just laughs. He reaches the waters and then drops you, you land hard on the sand.

"OUCH!" You shout. Jimin pays no attention to you as Yoongi throws a blob of sand in his direction, completely missing and instead hitting you square in the face. You scream out and both Jimin and Yoongi laugh, clenching onto their stomaches. You ball your fists into the sand, taking the opportunity to throw some sand at them. You stand and chuck the sand at Yoongi, hitting him in now grey dyed hair. You laugh and Jimin points and laughs. Then he slows his laughs as he slowly turns to look at you. His eyes grow wide and he points but not at you, at Jungkook. You turn to see Jungkook stand with two water guns in this hands. You take this opportunity to throw the sand at Jimin. You hit him in his eyes. You laugh . Jungkook then squirts Jimin in the face with the water gun, taking steps to get closer to him so that when the sand falls off his face, he will be closer to Jimin and scare him. Jungkook looks at you and winks, handing you the second water gun. You look at Yoongi and he turns and runs.

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE FART!" You shout, chasing after him, further into the water.

The fight lasts for another 30 minutes before Jin decides to finally turn in, the sun setting now.

"Yeah, it's a good idea. It's starting to get dark and we haven't eaten since 11:30. It's now 7:00," Namjoon chimes in. You all sigh, noticing the little grumbles coming from your stomach. You all then walk back to the beach house after gathering your beach items and throwing on some clothes to keep warm.

Everyone clammers into the house, water dripping everywhere and sand coming out of ears. Jungkook takes his seat on the couch and the rest of the boys turn into their rooms, showering and washing to be ready and clean to make dinner. You walk past Jungkook and then at the last moment, you shoot him in the head.

"YA!" Jungkook shouts and points the gun at you. He squirts you and soon it becomes a water gun fight between the two of you. He stands up and chases you out of the living room and into the kitchen. Your feet leave water foot prints behind. Jungkook suddenly slips and falls.

"Kookie!" You shout and rush to his side. He reaches his gun up and pulls you close to him, pointing the gun to your head, your faces awfully close to the other.

"Now surrender!" Jungkook says. You put your gun to his head.

"No, you surrender!" Jungkook laughs and lets your head go, dropping his gun. You laugh and he laughs with you, his chest heaving along to catch his breath. You lay on his chest for a while. You couldn't help but look into his eyes as you lean down and press your lips against his. He holds onto your waist as he lifts his head up to indulge in one more kiss.

"Are you sure?" Jungkook asks.

"I think I am ready to be your girlfriend." You say. He smiles and sits up, a big dopey grin on his face. You smile as his eyes grow wide.

"Kim Soo Rae is my girlfriend." He says with a light chuckle, his sweet bunny smile showing wide.

"And Jeon Jungkook is my boyfriend."

"Today is our first day," he says. You nod your head in full agreement.

The two of you kiss, one last time, as the last of the sun's light disappears behind the ocean's waves.
