Chapter 20 ~ New Pet? Pt. 2

"What's inside that box?" asked Sero.

"Don't know but this man said this is important and that someone will try to take it."

"So you just got that junk from the stranger that you're not supposed to be near?" scoffed Bakugou.

"I'm afraid he's got a point." agreed Kirishima.

"Well I just felt that I could help him because he was having a hard time. Plus kindness always helps. I even made a promise to protect it."

"Never mind that's so manly of you!"

"Can we take a peek? I wanna see." asked Mina having an urge to know.

"But what if curiosity kill us like the cat?" said Kaminari feeling hesitant.

"Then we'll just fight and kill em'."

"Let me take a look at the note. This must be important also."

Tana read it for a moment before she slowly opened the box as they all sat down to get a closer look. Bakugou didn't sit down as he just stood there leaning on the tree that is behind them not interested but he took a peak without letting them know that he is curious also. After she opened it fully, something jumped up and then down causing them to jump caught off guard.

"See? I told you!" screeched Kaminari pointing at it childishly.

Tana ignored him and looked closer again. Two small green hoofs was shown rising up holding onto the edge of the opened box slowly to reveal a cute small green fellow with 4 legs, one pointy thingy on their head, and big eyes and teeth. (Picture) It was looked at everyone as they were awing at the sight of that creature. It then look at Tana as they both stare into each others' eyes.

"It's so cute!" gushed Mina placing her hands on her cheeks.

It then screamed in fright and hid back inside the box.

"Oh. He's scared."

"He?"

"Yeah it says it on the note. And I think he is hungry."

"What does he eat?"

"Candy. Only candy. Like any kind of candy he can eat."

"Wow. He eats sugar like Sato-kun."

"Yep."

"Do any of you guys have any candy he can eat?"

"Oh! I have a lollipop! It's in my bag!" Mina blurted out as she dug her hands in her bag before taking out a pink lollipop.

"That's perfect! Thanks Mina! Here little guy. Don't be afraid it's just candy."

Tana took out the plastic wrapper and showed it to the green creature as he slowly looked up and smelled it for a moment before taking it in one whole bite. He chewed it and then swallow. He looked at her with a smile on his face with hearts coming out as he jumped up and snuggled her. Tana smiled and hugged it while petting his head.

"What's your name little guy?"

The green creature showed a sign language showing them the om and then nom like he was chewing food.

"Om..Nom?"

He nodded and uses his hoof to show her to put them together which she understands that.

"Om-Nom. That's a cute name."

"That name sounds not bad at all."

"Tch! That doesn't sound cute to me! He looks like a monster."
