Chapter 26 ~ Tournament

"Now we'll take an hour's break for lunch before we start the afternoon festivities! See ya! Hey, Eraser Head, let's go grab food."

"I'm going to sleep.."

"What...just happened? Before we knew it, we had 0 points, and it was over ... We just let that team take our points obediently." Tetsu asked feeling gloomy along with his teammates.

"Could it be punishment for taking the small one's points in such an indecent way?" the girl with green vine hair shakily asked.

"I can't believe I obey someone's command. I'm sorry you guys.." the guy with blue horns said.

"I can't accept this!"

Tana walked over to Tetsu.

"Hey!"

Tetsu and others turned to see her again.

"Don't worry about it. At least you did your best." she smiled.

"T-Tana! C-Congratulations for being in 3rd!" Tetsu cried giving her a soft punch on the shoulder.

"I did the best I could. But thanks."

Murph grabbed Tana by the end of her shirt as she pulled her. She waved goodbye to him before following her.

"Hey, Murph. Congrats on being in 4th. I was worried you wouldn't make it."

"Yeah. Thanks. Can we please go? I don't want to be surrounded by everyone.."

"Don't worry. Come on."

As the girls were about to leave they noticed that Deku and Todoroki went somewhere like in private and they got curious of what is going on. They followed them behind quietly. Once they made it, they hid by the wall where they can see them in the tunnel. But to their surprise, Bakugou is on the opposite side of the wall who went to listen to what's going on.

"What the? Bakugou? What are you doing here?" Tana asked in the quiet tone.

"I should be asking you the same thing bitch." Bakugou growled.

They stopped to hear Deku asking as they got quiet for now.

"What did you want to talk about?"

There was an intense stare between them and everything was so silent.

"Um if we don't hurry, the cafeteria will probably be really crowded.... Um.."

Todoroki just give him the silent stare which gives him chills under his spine.

"I was overpowered. So much that I broke my pledge. Iida, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, Shokan, Tokoyami, Uraraka, Daichi... None of them felt it. At that last instant, I was the only one who was overpowered. Only me who had experienced All Might's full power up close."

"What...does that...mean?..."

"It means I felt something similar coming from you. Midoriya, are you... All Might's secret love child?"

Things got quiet after that. Tana covered her mouth as she started laughing quietly while Murph just went blank. Bakugou just deadpanned at his stupid question.

"Well? Are you?"

"T-That's not it! I mean, even if I was, I would say I wasn't, so I don't think you'd believe me, but anyway that's not how it is. In the first place, let me ask you something. Why do you think that about me?"

"Since you said, "that's not how it is", that means there's a connection between you two that you can't talk about, right?"

Midoriya looked down not knowing what to say.
