Kashaylas POV ~~

I got out the bed and threw on some sweats and a hoodie. I put my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my phone and keys and headed out the door.

I called August and fortunately he answered.

August - *sleepy voice* Hello

Me - lawd you sound so- never mind get yo ass up I'm omw !

August - Tf why I gotta get up ?

Me - Now is not the time get yo skinny ass up I'm finna pull up .

I heard him mumble some before I hung up and drove to his house.

When I pulled up he was already waiting outside with a mean ass look on his face.

" Why you wake me up tho ?" he said getting in and kissing me on the cheek.

" I don't know what's goin on but Meagan told me to meet her at the park and she said bring you."

" This what you woke me up for ? We too big to be playing at the park." He said. Folks too slow sometimes.

" Nigga we not goin to play , she said it was important. Shutup you gotta go now."

He sat there defeated in his seat and I smiled at him but he wasn't having that.

" Aww you'll get over it!" I said as I turned into the parking lot of the park and we got out.

I started to walk up but August yanked me back and hugged me tight.

" August get off me I can't breath !" I yelled. He was squeezing the mess outta me.

" Nope kiss me first ." he said puckering his lips.

" Moveee Meagan gotta tell us something."

" If you don't kiss me you not goin nowhere." he said still puckering up.

I huffed and kissed him. We was starting to really get into it when I remembered why we were here and pulled away.

" Ughh you make me sick." I said and pulled him towards where I seen Meagan sitting.

" Aww I love you too ."

We walked up to Meagan and she hopped up and hugged us.

" I think y'all might wanna sit down for what I'm bout to tell y'all." She said already scaring me.

" You got 6 months to live ?" August said covering his mouth.

I hit him in the arm , telling him to stfu with my eyes. He looked away and we both say down on the bench waiting for Meagan to start talking.

" So Kashayla you know how I told you I was at the fair with my homegirl ?" I nodded and waited for her to continue.

" Well that wasn't my homegirl that was my umm... girlfriend ." I looked over at August who had the same surprised expression as me.

" I know I know but that's not even what I wanted to tell y'all. Her name is Lisa and apparently she is obsessed with August. She wants him and from what she told me it sounds like she'll do anything to get him. Including hurting you Kashayla. " Meagan said looking sad.

" So you done sat around and listened to the bitch plot and plan to hurt me and you just now saying something. You no better than her !" I said getting up .

" Aye ma chill out !" August said pulling me back.

" Now hold up Kashayla yunno I ain't no snake like that. She just told me today and she even threatened to kill me , if I told you ! And here I am tryna help you out risking my own life !" she said yelling back.

" Ight y'all that's enough. Y'all bestfriends , quit all that arguing. What we need to be doing is tryna figure out a plan." August said rubbing his chin .

We all looked around until I finally spoke up.

" I think I have a idea ." I said.
