"You bastard! How'd you get my number again?!" America snapped his previously panicked state forgotten in favor of the anger he held towards the man on the other side of the phone. "It wasn't easy let me tell you that. Especially after you so carelessly threw your old one out a window." Maxwell said and America could just hear the cocky smirk in his voice.

"I only did that so you'd stop texting and calling me. You got some serious issues dude." America snapped at the human who just gave a light-hearted chuckle at his beloved's anger finding it cute. "You shouldn't avoid me, dearest. It'll only make things worse when I find you." Maxwell hissed his tone changing from playful to dark in an instant.

"Good luck with that, psycho! With that busted knee of yours it'll be hard to get around now, won't it?" Alfred retorted thinking he had the other blonde but felt a shiver run down his spine when Maxwell laughed loudly. "You think so little of me, Alfred. My leg has already healed. The doctor said I could start walking soon and when I do I'm coming for you." Maxwell snarled his voice laced with something that Alfred didn't even want to think of right now.

"Don't call me by my human name! You have no right to-" Alfred was cut off by Maxwell going 'tsk tsk'. "Silly Alfred, you gave me permission, remember?" Maxwell pointed out amused at his love's attitude. "Then I take back what I said! You, Maxwell Smith, can no longer call me, The United States of America, by my human born name." Alfred's words caused silence on the other side of the phone until Maxwell spoke one final time.

"You're going to regret this blondie..." Maxwell hissed again only to get caught off guard when the American laughed loudly at him. "You're blonde too, idiot and besides if you did manage to somehow find me, then we'll let's just say only one of us will be walking away from it." Alfred didn't even give Maxwell a chance to respond as he hung up on the stalker.

With that done, America tossed his phone into the air pulling out his pistol. He clicked the safety off and shot at the phone causing it to shatter and crack into a million little pieces. When the remains of Alfred's phone landed in front of him he raised his foot and stomped on the damaged device. Metal and glass was crushed underneath the American's combat boots leaving something that was unrecognizable.

Alfred looked at what remained of his phone clicking the safety back on before putting the gun back in it's holster. Alfred decided maybe he should hold off on getting a new phone or at least until Maxwell is dealt with.

"Alfred! Alfred!"

America turned around only to have small, lean arms wrapped around him and envelop him into a hug. Alfred looked down in shock and alarm relaxing slightly when he realized it was just Tyler. "Tyler?" Alfred said looking down at the short female who looked up at him with a serious expression.

"Alfred, what did my brother do to you?"

Maxwell smirked as the line of the other side went dead from Al-America hanging up. Rats guess that America really did revoke his right to call him by his human name. "Ah well, it won't matter in a few hours anyway." Maxwell started grabbing the bedside table as he slowly stood up his knees shaking. "He'll be mine and he won't care about anyone else's name but mine." Maxwell smirked happy his plan will be coming together in just a few hours time.

"And now that that idiot albino is out of the way. No one can stand between me and my true love." Maxwell finished looking out the window at the bright blue sky that reminded him of his America's eyes. So full of wonder and hope unlike most of the people he knew.

He let go of the bedside table finally standing up on his own for the first time in what felt like weeks.

"I'm coming for you, United States of America."

"What do you me—" America was cut off when Tyler raised her hand silently telling him to stop speaking. "Alfred, I know when my brother's done something bad to someone. This has happened before but never to this extent. He has gotten into a lot of trouble before but our parents always bailed him out with our money." Tyler explained looking very serious like America had never seen before. Like ever.

"Really? I didn't even know you guys were related until just a few minutes ago." America said still surprised at the fact that this has all happened before and that Maxwell's parents always helped him get away with it. "That's because we're not." Tyler said causing Alfred to look at her confused before she elaborated.

"Me and Maxwell aren't related by blood. I was adopted into their family when my parents passed away. I was only four at the time and my parents we're really good friends with the Smiths also they were technically my god parents. So I went to live with them and took their last name as my own." Alfred was shocked to say the least but was relieved that Tyler and Maxwell weren't actually related to each other.

"Wow...that's just...wow." Alfred tried to speak but all that came out were random words. Tyler chuckled at his flabbergasted look and released him from the hug they were still in. "I know, it's kinda crazy right?" Tyler said smiling at her best friend as he slowly processed the information she had just given him.

"Yeah it is. Though I am curious, what was your old last name?" Alfred asked the black hair women. "Oh my old last name used to be Barnes." America felt a sudden sadness come over him when he heard that. He remembered the Barnes Family. They ran a toy drive and charity that would give toys to poor children but they were murdered ages ago and the killer was never caught. They had two sons and one daughter. The sons were killed with their parents so only their four year old daughter survived the massacre.

"Oh Tyler. I'm so sorry." Alfred smiled sadly at the human who just gave him a sad smile back patting him on the back. "It's fine but we've got bigger fish to fry right now." Tyler said suddenly turning serious again. "We need to go back to the conference room and get that head. It's the only evidence we have against my brother." Alfred nodded and the two started heading back towards the conference room unaware that in a few hours, their live were going to change forever.
