Chapter 3 (Essence of our Meeting)

I began to recant the events of the day to my two friends. It was important that I covered the details as I knew them and as clearly as the water Matt was holding. I went over every detail looking each of them squarely in the eye as if seeking some direction. I updated them bringing us all the way up to Starbucks and our current meeting. At this point, there was a pregnant pause which seemed like an eternity. I thought to myself "Starbucks, what a unique name -"StarGate"?" I dismissed this thought looking at both of my friends with a question in my eye. Seeking a response I asked, "What do you make of all this?"

Matt mumbled a comment under his breath: "This all sounds like something out of StarGate and maybe it is!" I looked at Matt incredulously and said: "That's an interesting comment I was just thinking the same thing!" I continued my conversation with Matt asking him why he didn't pick up on my thoughts. Matt's comment to me was: "I cannot read my close friend's minds except in extreme and dire situations." example: death, personal injury or imminent danger. I will reserve my opinions until I hear more from you about this mystery and we produce further investigations.

At this point, Henry chimed in, "Hey guys, I was listening to you while staring into my coffee and I saw something really strange. It was as if I were looking down a long endless tunnel." Matt piped in quickly, "You mean like a Star Gate?" At this point, we all looked at each other. It was so quiet we could hear a knife cut the air.

I addressed my comrades stating, "Well it appears that we have stumbled across an unanswered mystery from the past and possibly related to the future." I reiterated to my friends what I had said earlier that this also appeared to involve my house in some way. I told them this was going to require diligent investigation on our parts to sort out all the details.

Henry commented that he felt, that we should divide this up between us. He further stated that we should assign each other different spheres of research to pursue. We should also set up a scheduled meeting place and time to update each other and determine future actions.

This was agreed by all and we set to the task of outlining our respective initial courses of action. The following was determined:

1)- Matt: A.) Check on paranormal activity during this time period. B.) Check to see if there were any time continuum abnormalities during this time period. C.) Research and identify any potential clairvoyants from that time period.

2.)- Henry: A.) Look into the future and see any changes to Laurine's house, town and most importantly Matt, Henry, and Laurine.

3.)- Laurine: A.) Go to the County Records Office and research all land and property records back as far as history records. B.) Read the book checked out from the library and follow up on any leads found therein.

I reached for the library book laying face down on the table and turned it over revealing the title "Stargate - Mystery Beyond Dragon's Crown." We all looked at each other with shock and disbelief. Matt asked me "Did you know this, Laurine?" Henry commented, "Somebody or something is watching us!".....

Chapter 4 (Meaning Behind StarGate/Mystery Beyond Dragon's Crown)

Henry's comment rang a bell in my head, "Somebody or something is watching us!" this made a lot of sense considering things were changing so rapidly. Many things that we thought were explainable suddenly become unexplainable, "StarGate-Mystery Beyond Dragon's Crown," Now made perfect sense the melding of two infinite parallel universes. Somebody watching us could be from the parallel universe. My first question at this point is why are we being led down this path? My second question: do parallel universes come together? If parallel universes do not come together then they must overlap. It seems at this point that StarGate and Mystery Beyond Dragons Crown are one and the same. Only our investigations will determine whether this is a fact or fiction. Going forward from here we determined that we should each follow a certain path and come together again with the information that we have gathered in a one-week meeting here at Starbucks.
